Pat Yasinskas Thoughts on Future Coach

Yasinskas made a big deal about McCoy as an assistant and put him in the coordinator role as a heavy favorite while the team was interviewing outside candidates instead.

End result, he's always pimped McCoy and probably used to get stories from his agent.

JR has never even interviewed an offensive candidate before. Meanwhile, we've had more OCs than we've had head coaches, or any position coach, in our 15 year history. And we're going to change up and hire an OC who doesn't even call plays?

I hate to tell you this, but it's a possibility.

If the Panthers hire Mike McCoy, I will have officially lost all respect for JR and I will sell my PSLs to the highest bidder. Let someone else fund the incompetence.

McCoy is just wrong on so many levels.

Pretty much agree.. Of all the candidates out there, Mike McCoy won the HC job?

Yes, it's possible. Just like the super volcano in Yosemite erupting tomorrow... either case would be a horrible situation.

Yep. Remember it well. He had McCoy as a shoo-in. Not sure he even mentioned Jeff Davidson as a candidate. And as I recall, the info was coming from McCoy's agent (oops).

    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
    • Nah we just talking about giving a platform and normalizing predators (who both beat women) opinions and celebrating it if it fits your narrative.  If that's fun I'm fine being a miserable fug by not supporting P.O.S like that. N b4 you call me a libtard or some other dumb ish know I'm an Anarchist/Libertarian and believe both these dudes should get a complete ass whooping (at min) or something worse for what they have done to women in this world.
