4 of 9 for a TD and pick in the 10-20 yard range.  You guys say it's Frank play calling, but Frank isn't the one who is lukewarm completing passes beyond 10 yards.

Isn’t the league average like 53%? 44% for a rookie doesn’t seem that horrible

I wonder how we are on drops as well.

Yeah definitely a factor. Every other QB has drops too so prob fine to not take into account but I would like to see Bryce completion at 10+ game over game. I def don’t think it was 44% first few weeks. If he’s getting better every week that’s good enough for me. Nobody is expecting him to be a pro bowler year 1.

It's just such a small sample size for Young that one or two drops skews it big time.

Under 50% isn't acceptable of a NFL QB, especially the #1 overall pick.  I know he's a rookie, but he's got to do better.

I disagree but fair enough. I think your first year in the NFL you’re looking for progress week over week. Now year 2, I agree. I wanna see average to above average everywhere with a breakout year 3.

Suck it Panther haters!  Future hall of famer!

Bryce Young just played his BEST game as a Panther, despite an 18-point loss:
• 25/41 (61%)
• 247 passing yards
• 3 passing TD’s
• 2 INT’s
• 82.1 passer rating
• led 4 scoring drives (3 TD, 1 FG) Young is now up to 750 passing yards, 65 rushing yards, 5 TD’s, and 4 INT’s on the season. The Panthers rookie QB still has a long way to go but has showed MAJOR promise

Wasn’t it 6 scoring drives if you include the two interceptions that lead to 14 points?

If he gets to 3500 yards with 2:1 TD ratio it’s a good year with this injury riddled roster. That would have me excited for next year

He’s currently on pace for 3187 yards, 21 touchdowns, 17 INTs, 276 rushing yards and 4 fumbles if you average out his stats over 17 games, which he’s already missed one.

yeah i did the math before posting that, if he gets to 2:1 that shows me he's learning QUICK after throwing 1 per game so far. 21 and 11 would be pretty good imo

    • I fully expect them to pick up his 5th year , and they're waiting for him to put a full excellent consistent season of QB play in year 4 or 5. If that don't happen,  they'll eventually cut ties.  Here's to hoping he just goes on a team in 2026. The worst thing he could do is continue to see-saw us to around .500 records because it might be impossible to replace him at that point unless youre willing to do the veteran qb carousel poo we did from 2019 to 2023.
    • What do you think of Bryce Youngs career thus far? Are you excited about his progress or is it not enough for you? I included a poll of ranking his performance through 3 years thus far.  I personally think he's made some decent progress. Has had some high moments (last half of 2024, Rams game, ATL game in 2025)  but in my mind, those are still outweighed by the many more lowlights thus far (ex turnovers, missed throws, poor decisions)  It's a very mixed bag for me. He's done enough to get a 5th year option but by no means should we lock him in with a 50+ mil a year multi year deal. I want to see him play consistently well for a full year before that happens (yes, I'm still saying that going into year 4. That might be telling).  Just sucks when you see CJ Stroud, Jayden Daniel's, Caleb Williams almost immediately lighting poo up with their arm talent. Maybe Bryce is just an ultra slow burn. I don't know what to think anymore. Guess we're gonna be stuck with him for a whilr unless we end up being bad enough to earn a high pick next year. I doubted it lol. Overall Stats for his career:       ● 14 W - 30L (regular season)       ● 0-1 playoffs record        ● 61.4% completion, 8291 passing yards, 49 TDs, 30 INTs  Year 1:       ● 2 wins, 14 losses      ● 60% completion rate, 2877 passing yards, 11 TD to 10 INTs, 5.5 yards per attempted pass Year 2:        ● 4 wins , 8 losses        ● 60.9% completion rate,  2403 passing yards, 15 TD, 9 INTs,  6.3 yards per attempted pass  Year 3:        ● 8 Wins, 8 Losses         ● 63.6% competition rate, 3011 passing yards, 23 TDs to 11 INTs  Playoffs         ● 1 game in year 3 ( 0 - 1 in playoffs)         ● 21/40 (52.5% completion rate), 264 passing yards, 1 TD, 1 INT.
