And? He also thought Sam Darnold was going to be a franchise QB.

This same place once highly regarded Chris Simms opinions on QB's too. Whoever aligns with the narrative is the new popular name.

No Darnold slander allowed. Also no one said Orlovsky is being regarded highly, you sound deranged.

There were a couple in the Lions game if you were watching.

After he shook off his 2nd turnover and let loose he look way better and definitely flashed some potential.  He was also passing it down the field.  If we could get that play out of him consistently plus an actual running game things will start looking a lot better.

It's just another perspective in a sea of people being down on Young/Carolina.  You calling out one of the times he was wrong (as every analyst is at some point) in an attempt to make him less credible would be you trying to spin your narrative on it would it not?  Everyone has a narrative to spin, no one is purely neutral.

I am not saying he is entirely without credibility to give an opinion. But if his Sam Darnold takes were just a throwaway remark he made a few times it would be one thing. But it's worth noting since he went all in on Sam. He was outspoken about it. It's worth mentioning in the context of him putting it all on the line for another QB that is under a cloud of skepticism here. We don't have to like it. But it's relevant.

He should elaborate on that. Because he could mean practically anything from fan treatment to media treatment to how he's being utilized in the offense.

This.

What does "what are some doing to Bryce" even mean?  We're fans.  So unless he's talking about booing, there jsnt anything else we can "do" to him.  I think he's likely alluding to something with the coaching.

    • No saying he mostly sucks is saying that he doesn’t suck the minority of the time.   Like if he took 17 tests and had a couple of really good showings and a handful of pretty good scores sprinkled in among the typical sub par results.   Like a golfer who went out and shot an 89.  There will be some real nice shots sprinkled in there but at the end of the day it is still 89.
    • It's worth mentioning... Game 1: Oct 11 in Raleigh. 4-3 OT win with a complete starting lineup. Game 2: Dec 13 in Philly. 4-3 SO win without Jaccob Slavin. Game 3: Dec 14 in Raleigh. 3-2 SO win with a complete starting lineup. Game 4: Apr 13 in Philly. 3-2 SO loss with the AHL roster.  Those early season games were no indication of the Canes team that finished the season. Miller and Ehlers were still trying to figure things out, Nikishin was still a work in progress and the Stankoven line was just another line. Make no mistake, the Canes team Philly will see is nothing close to what they saw at any point in the season. If the top line starts producing, Freddie stays hot and the blue line does what it does, this could be a sweep as well.
