2 Backs over 1,100 yards? Williams averages over 5 yds per carry, despite Jake. Stewart would be starting for most teams, including the Vikes. AP or AD a.k.a. AF(always fumbles) was sidelined by his own coach and was laughing about it? Give me "Double Trouble" without Jake and we are Dallas bound next year.

Based off this season

1. Chris Johnson

2. MJD

3. AP

4. Jonathan Stewart

5. Ryan Grant/Ray Rice

Overall

1. AP -fumbles a lot but still helps his team more than he hurts them, very talented. If he fumbles continue and the backs below stay productive he will take a dive.

2. Chirs Johnson - Very fast and productive

3. Deangelo Williams - very well balanced set of skills, productive

3. MJD - productive and a tenacious player

4. Steven Jackson - too bad he's on a crappy team

5. Ray Rice - Rising Star

3. D.Williams-what LT use to be like

4. M. Turner-only one that could give CJ a race

5. M. Jones-Drew-pocket Hercules is a bowling ball if toughness

6. L.Tomlinson/S. Jackson-has seen better years/underrated,only weapon, bad team

7. F. Gore/ R. Grant-blue collar

8. J. Stewart-one part of the dynamic duo needs more carries and less injuries

Asking this question on a Panthers board is sort of stupid. Pose the question on a board without a top back, then you'll get a...hell youd get a media skewed answer, unless they're knowledgeable. The guy who said they're all about even is correct. Williams, Johnson, MJD, Peterson, Jackson, Rice, and Gore all could lead the league in a given year; with Stewart, Thomas Jones, and Turner ready to step up to that group.

never averaged over 4.4 yards a carry. DeAngelo is over 5 YPC for his career.

I CAN MAKE THE CASE (WHICH I WILL DO SHORTLY) THAT DeAngelo is the best running back in NFL history, or at least close to it.

ONLY DEANGELO WILLIAMS AND JIM BROWN AMONG THE GREAT BACKS (ACCORING TO MY THOROUGH BUT ADMITTEDLY NOT COMPLETE RESEARCH) HAVE EVER AVERAGED 5.0 YARDS A CARRY FOR THREE STRAIGHT YEARS.

Most other backs have NEVER AVERAGED THAT FOR ONE YEAR. Payton did it one time at best, Emmitt did it once.

Stephen Jackson is not close for the last three years he is like 4.1, 4.2 and 4.4.

Don't be ridiculous. DeAngelo is easily, stat wise, in the top ten of all time. And it isn't even close.
