Bryce outplayed Stroud today

It's always funny when folks who have been largely missing for a few months save for a few random posts here and there shows up asking where everyone is at now like they've earned the right to strut. Just no. You don't get cool points for hiding when it's convenient.

I'm happy with how Bryce Young played on the whole. But the way we finished the game is not what we should be doing. We barely squeaked by a team we were supposed to be significantly better than anyways and we had to play for a FG in our own house to do it. We've still got a lot of work to do.

Yet Bryce still outplayed Stroud who is on a better offense and better team overall.

Ok.

I’m not worried about that.  That’s something sensitive Bryce fans are worried about.  Stroud has outplayed him on the season.  Our offense still sucks.

The Texans have been a better team overall on the year because of Stroud’s play vs our QBs play in this system.  Can’t really have that both ways.

I haven’t seen any of them leave? Nor have I seen them not be around today after the game? I don’t think those Stroud folks are the ones calling people nut huggers, posting memes with penises, giving them weird nicknames like S2troud ( especially when Stroud has still played better than Bryce this season ) nor are they accusing others of worshipping QBs and stuff. I’ve been a big believer in Stroud and I’m sitting right here engaging in these threads without being immature.

I preferred Stroud over Young during the offseason draft process. But guess what, I wanted Stroud to lose and Bryce to ball out today because he wears the Panthers uniform. That’s my QB

I think that’s 99.99% of the folks here today, too.

How our the 0-6 Panthers significantly better than the 3-3 Texans? Weren’t the Texans favored to win?

I mean, let's not go crazy. Dude doesn't fumble. Houston probably wins. Houston doesn't commit 10 turnovers to our 3, Houston probably wins. CJ wasn't awful, just not great. Bryce was great today. Good completion percentage. Made clutch plays. Was sacked, what, 5 or 6 times? Still popped up and performed. Thumbs up.

Come on man don't play these games with me. You know I'm referring to all the hype and fluff after the draft and before the season. Almost everyone here agreed the Texans were a bad destination for any rookie QB.

Oh the preseason stuff.  Yeah you have to let all of that poo go because it was completely wrong.  Our 0-6 start and Stroud looking like the OROY has shown that preseason expectations were completely wrong.  You can only go on what they are actually showing during this season.  Vegas gave Houston points in Carolina.  That's where the reality is, not all of the BS fluff pieces we were fed this offseason.

LOL. Complaining about maturity.  Here.  You're funny.

I'm sorry that I hurt your sensibilities by making fun of a QB OF ANOTHER TEAM.

 S2troud doesn't play for us.

Let him go.  It'll be ok.

    • Never been. Going to a concert there Thursday night. Decent tailgating opportunities in the parking area or no? I see people are going to the beer hall to grab a beer to get their parking validated. Seems like a good plan to me. I'd like to smoke a brisket and do a decent spread of food but I just don't know if the parking setup allows for it.

    • Bryce also has a degree in psychology. He has an uncanny ability to compartmentalize things in a way that allows him to enter his second NFL season with optimism that he can still be the player who was worthy of being the No. 1 pick of the 2023 draft despite the kind of rookie year that has destroyed others in his position. Young credits that in part to his past. He graduated from the University of Alabama in three years with a degree in psychology. His father was a therapist in the mental health field for 20 years. His mother was a special education teacher, and his grandfather was a psychologist. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/40334565/bryce-young-developing-leader-panthers-year-2
