The game management after Sanders first down was awful.

We had 1:49 left and 3 timeouts. They were starting to blitz heavy. Mix in a run or RB screen. Plenty of time with only half the field to go.

Instead we throw 3 straight times, one of which being a wildly overthrown 30 yard pass.

Frank needs to give up playcalling!!!!  Wait....

Yep, that failed 2nd down pass attempt all but sealed the game. I knew it in my gut as soon as it happened.  Chicago was letting us have the short stuff, but no, tried to take a shot when CLEARLY that's not our offenses *cough* Bryce's *cough* strong suit.

It is embarrassing to be the team and owner who fires coaches constantly, but does anyone think there is path forward with Reich? I understand the line sucks and the lack of weapons (which is on Fit and Reich to a degree), but this offense shows no innovation or adherence to playing to the strengths of its players and giving our rookie QB the best opportunity to be successful. Will it really be that much better even if with better players? I don't see how it can.

If there was ever a case of "we need to fire a coach after 1 year", its this one. I don't think anyone would even raise hell about it.

With all due respect, I find this to be a little goofy if I'm right about where this is headed.  I hate to be that person and I'm embarrassed about the Panthers too but its just sports... more important things in the world to march the streets about, assuming that is what they are meaning.  And marching the streets to get people fired seems a little insensitive.

The best way to show the Panthers our displeasure is to just stop attending games.

This. Tepper is a multi billion dollar hedge fund manager who makes money hand over fist as an owner. He doesn’t give a poo about a few hundred fans crying over a bullhorn on mint street. The only way to get his attention is to stop going to games and buying his concessions.

I'm thinking Tepper goes after Lions OC Ben Johnson (who was his #1 choice last offseason) and gives him the key to the team

And he's going to wanna take a job with a 5'10" qb and no 1st round draft pick? Have fun coming up with a game plan where you can't run qb sneak or a convincing play action scheme

    • Another source: NFL Rumors: Hakeem Butler to Visit Panthers After UFL Success, Wade Phillips' Praise ZACH BACHAR JUNE 10, 2024 The Carolina Panthers are expected to conduct a workout with UFL wide receiver Hakeem Butler, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. Butler recorded a league-leading 652 receiving yards as a member of the St. Louis Battlehawks. He was previously a fourth-round draft pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2019. After the Battlehawks were defeated by the San Antonio Brahmas in the XFL Conference title game, Brahmas head coach and longtime NFL coach Wade Phillips told the receiver that "I'm going to tell everybody in the NFL that I talk to that you need to be playing," via Michael David Smith of Pro Football Talk. Despite the loss by St. Louis, Butler still hauled in six receptions for a team-high 59 receiving yards. The 28-year-old was named the 2024 UFL Offensive Player of the Year, as he was one of only two wideouts to have multiple games with at least 100 receiving yards. While the Panthers added Diontae Johnson and first-round rookie Xavier Legette to their wide receiver room in the offseason, they could still use some depth in the form of Butler. Carolina isn't opposed to picking up former UFL players, as Rapoport revealed on Thursday that the team is also "expected" to sign All-UFL receiver Daewood Davis. Although Butler was selected by the Cardinals in the 2019 draft, he did not play as a rookie due to a hand injury and only appeared in two regular-season games as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles in 2020. He did not record a catch. Butler signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers during the 2023 offseason, although he ultimately didn't make the team's regular-season roster. At 6'5", he has the frame to potentially make an impact in training camp and earn a shot at making Carolina's 53-man roster. If his workout goes well with the Panthers, Butler could give himself another chance to possibly return to the NFL.
    • They have all the rookies. The DC game has Ron though. With the new QB. It is weird.  pantherclaw, Bryce sort of is what he is, and in Madden he makes throws the real Bryce can’t make. Here and there. He ain’t ain’t a top QB in Madden though, lots of picks. aone of them lol was the throw that scares the hell out of me when he throws it, out to the boundary... quack quack.
