Didn’t take long in the video to realize he’s pointing out guys that aren’t the read that aren’t open. But y’all have at it. I’ll trust the mountains of other analysis that tell you.
scheme sucks, protection sucks, receivers suck.

This was pretty much my take as well. It's interesting the same people who absolutely trash other breakdowns love this one.... Bryce isn't playing amazing but he has been put in a terrible position and is far from the biggest issue with this team right now.

Wasn't a problem with Dalton....

I've noticed that lazy squared up to the field footwork all season. It's typical spread shotgun college QB stuff. It's a big reason why the air raid QBs rarely worked out back in the day. It's less of a knock against prospects in today's NFL but it's causing Bryce to be too slow on miss open receivers. You can't see a guy come open then get your feet ready in the NFL. By the time you do that he's probably not open anymore. You gotta bring your feet and hips with your eyes and Bryce just isn't doing it. He stands squared up to the field and then oftentimes will literally jump like a frog still square to the field and try to throw. I don't care if you're prime Cam you're going to really struggle to generate any velocity doing trash like that.

Have you noticed the ball slips out of his hands a couple times a game as well? Maybe the ball got wet and it’s just a coincidence, but I wonder if what you’re saying is what’s causing that. The passes this happens on just look horrendous (obviously, it slips out) Maybe since his hips and feet aren’t following his head, he rushes?

Maybe the slips are in the video I haven’t finished all of it yet

He has lined up under center. Some call it a rumor but I have seen it.

I don’t remember what they ran though. I think it was a short yardage handoff.

I couldn’t fnd the right words for what the team looked like game one but they looked totally unconcerned about anything. No hurry, no urgency, it was honestly as if they were practicing and not trying to win. Never seen that in game one of an NFL season. Maybe by week 15. I did not know exactly what I was looking at. Which was weird and disappointing, and weird.

You mean under center in the last game or in general? This was under center

Not sure. His hand measured at 9 3/4" so it's not a hand size issue. Hand size really only becomes a major concern sub-9".

Did you watch that game? One of his two TD's was a completely busted coverage and he completed sub- 60% of his passes.... Plenty of yards but that's because he attempted 60 passes. Our offense has looked terrible all season regardless of who has been behind center.

Actually a good QB is supposed to identify busted coverages and take advantage of them. Thats the whole point of good playcalls is to confuse the defense for exploitation. Its even worse when there is a busted coverage and the QB ( Bryce) just simply doesnt see the open man to take advantage. And i hate how the 60 passes get thrown around like thats Daltons fault, anytime a offense is constantly getting backed up due to penalties you have to make up those yards which will mean more pass attempts. YOu arent gonna do it running the ball so what else can you call.

Not advocating for Dalton but we were in that game and competitive...then our vaunted D folded in the second half...

Hell, I'm legit rooting for Bryce. That'd be some delicious crow to eat.

But I'm not going to embarrass myself blaming everything under the sun to cover for Bryce in the meantime. He's playing bad. Yes, the entire offense is. That's true. But Bryce is part of the bad. It's not like he's a diamond shining in the rough. He's very much a big part of why the entire offense is bad. Sorry, that's just the reality of the situation.

    • He’s been every bit as much of the problem as anyone else. You cant remove him from that fact, he is just as much part of the team and in THE most important position on the field. But this is the first season he’s seen any kind of continuity in his team and coaches. And he’s shown flashes here and there. But we do need more out of him going forward a lot more if we are going to be successful
    • Bryce isn’t great and super mid. But I think can be a game manager. What do we think is out there? Daniel Jones isn’t going anywher. Mac Jones? Zach Wilson? Pickett. I’m just not sure what’s out there that is much better without having to give up a ton of capital. Rather take one more step closer to contention with our early rounders next year with FS and LB help. Make this  place where dang they got a defense and a WR1 and solid RB room. I can win with that and want to be here
    • AR15 is if Justin Fields was fragile and his teammates hated him. No thanks. Ya'll think you hate watching Bryce Young? Wait until your QB can't even complete a 7 yard pass over the middle, which Fields and Richardson can't do. If the draft class was better, I could absolutely see the Titans moving on from Ward already if they got the #1 pick. But so far the college QB's haven't impressed enough. They'll have flashes, but then follow it up with a very meh game. Kyler is already done in Arizona, but he has a ridiculous contract and he's basically Bryce that likes to scramble, so no thanks. If Lawrence can't produce with that team in Jacksonville, what do you think he'll do here? He's tall Bryce who can throw deep but can't make the 4th down throws and crumbles in the red zone. No thanks. I do think Canales wants to move on from Bryce, his body language says so even in wins. He treated Bryce pretty odd this week and Bryce looked checked out in the Packers game. But unless they make another risky trade, its going to be slim pickings. Basically our hopes lie in hitting early in the draft with a Mateer, Nussmeier, Beck type or finding a random backup free agent that has another gear to hit.  I think even with the draft being wishy washy, 4-5 QB's will be taken in the top 7. A lot of teams are just that desperate.
