What are Hurney and Fox doing!?

Clearly the Panthers front office isn't talking to anyone about anything. It has been about a month since the end of the season, and not one cut, not one extension, not even a phone call according to Peppers. What is going on right now with the Front Office? I mean Julius has got too be the #1 priority going into this offseason, just as they made Gross there priority last year, yet they havent even called?

Should we assume that extensions with T.D. and Marshall are the way? Or are they waiting for clarification on the Cap situation before they make any moves? Are we going all in on the draft with only our mid-2nd rounder and later? I just hate the silent treatment and Peppers coming out saying we havent even called...WTF!

If you were a star player and your team didnt even pick up the phone in a whole month to see how your doing and some of your thoughts, than i bet 99% of you would say, " I'm Done with this team, they obviously dont care..." Your lying if you say otherwise..

Fox is just sitting at home laughing......he stuck with Jake all year and even when Moore started, he said if Jake was healthy he would still be in.......dude is legally insane.

Right now, Fox is just trying to figure out how to not give Moore the job.......

co-signed...

The problem is, the deadline for an uncapped year is March 5th... The deadline to use a tag is Feb 27th...

I think everyone knows it'll be uncapped, it's just not official yet. Panthers are probably waiting to see how other teams use the franchise tag before jumping into it too fast.

Hurney isn't stupid, he's made some mistakes, but he isn't stupid. He'll do what's best for the franchise.

I think they have moved on. They are tired of dealing with him and won't franchise him afraid his agent will screw it up again and Pepper

s won't sign the tender until the bitter end. We obviously can't reach a long term deal so I doubt we will pay him the 20 million. Richardson sees that with the 20 million from Peppers and 9.3 from not picking up Kemo's option that is 30 million more to go into his pocket.

    • I'm really not stressing about upgrading from Bryce. I'm frustrated with our inability (or refusal) to recognize overall bad QB performance and failure to seriously address the issue. QB is the most impactful position on the field, and we're not only settling for what we've been given to this point, but we've rewarded it with a fully guaranteed 5th year extension for a player that's never played 2 NFL franchise QB quality games back to back in 3 seasons. I can't understand how that's ok from a coach's or GM's viewpoint. Successful franchises don't do things like this. It just doesn't make sense.  We do not have a top half of the league QB right now. Since we don't have that player, we should be looking for him. Pickett isn't it. Grier isn't it. Bryce hasn't proven he is yet. Until you have that sure fire franchise QB, you keep looking. You're not consistently making the playoffs, a deep run, or a SB appearance without one.  What's the worst that could happen? We end up with 2 potential number 1 QBs? How horrible.
    • Easy to understand Pickett, if this is anywhere close to on point. Canales wants to get as close to Bryce as he can- get the pace and timing in the throws as close a he can to Bryce. So the other players don’t have to adjust so much, to a new guy.       If Cam was the 1, he would look for a rocket arm.  But Bryce is the 1. Look for limited in the same way.  Low velocity, plenty of air under it, feels just like home when Picket comes in. And you have the guys on the second team not having such a radical adjustment (if they have to play) like with Dalton to Bryce.    Enter Grier. I guess we will collect those types.
    • Best part is if we draft him, we can also use him as our fourth and one QB sneaker
