It was a great throw but one throw any nfl qb should be able to make. It doesn't change anything else about his physical limitations.

Cool so we agree Bryce has an NFL caliber arm and can make the deep throws a NFL qb should make?

thank you for agreeing. That’s the point of this thread. You have folks like this CRA fella and this LinvilleGorge guy that are saying it’s “subpar” “can’t make all the throws” etc.

simply not true.

He threw that ball from the 35 yard line and dropped it into a bucket at the 5.

How can you look at that throw and talk poo? Do you understand what you are watching?

No he didn't throw it from the 35 yard line. I don't know how you all measure distance in Alabama, but for the rest of the country, that ball traveled less than 60 yards in the air. Any NFL starting QB and backups and most any third-stringers and UDFAs can make that throw without looking like he's about to tear off his rotator cuff in the process.

Did you just start following the NFL this year because Bryce is your favorite QB at Alabama? Bryce may be the best thing to have ever happened in Tuscaloosa to you, but the NFL is a grown men's league, son!

get glasses kid. He throws it from the 35 yard line and hits his receiver at the 5.

Only haters can watch this throw and find some bullshit to spew its crazy.

I’ve been a fan of this team since 03, unlike you I actually root for my teams players instead of baselessly trashing them.

This facade is just sad. The 2023 season and CJ Stroud really broke ol' poundaway.

Cam was targeted by Roger Goodell and the NFL. He wasn't given 1/10th the protection that a Manning, Brady or Brees received. He was an upstart young black QB with an infectious smile that loved the game for the game. SB50 and the season opener in 2016 showed that with blinding illumination that that wasn't going to be allowed.

Glad you have your excuse.

Lol at the expected responses to the cam comment.

He couldn't hit his receiver in stride regularly at all. Was quite the rarity.

High. Low.  All day long.

I will say he could launch that ball with a flick of his wrist while falling backwards.   Young definitely can't do that! Got me there!

No, he didn't. If you want to give Bryce a participation trophy, be my guest.

By the way, were you even alive back in 03? I bet you were but a glint in the milkman's eye back in 2003.

Cam wasn't protected well by his oline but he wasn't given any of the protections other QBs in the NFL got. Bryce was sacked by fingertips and Cam had guys launching full speed at his head helmet to helmet. Bryce has never taken the kind of hits Cam did.

    • 10 years ago, the reactions to this thread would have at the least made me question myself and what I’m seeing in my evaluation versus what I’m feeling.  But not now.  I know where this mentality comes from and we’re seeing unfold in real-time, everyday in society.  Call someone else dumb while any and all statistics supports their argument, but if you just keep doubling down, you can make people forget about facts. It’s also why my replies to this despite 16 pages have been pretty sparse outside of one, and that post was mostly ignored because it called the BS out for what it is.     I don’t take it personal, because I know for them, it is VERY personal.  Not a person alive on this planet is going to tell me, nor convince me, that any other starter in the NFL isn’t more physically talented than Bryce.  We have all read and seen the stats - 32nd out of 32 starters since being drafted.  We have watched the games.  Countless games where Bryce struggles to hit 100 yards until the 4th.  Countless times he fumbles untouched, trips over his own feet, under throws or throws behind, or just throws straight to a defender who has been lurking in the same spot from the snap.  But, there is this mysterious ancient metric that us simpletons have not gained access to, that makes him better than the stats and eye test combined.🤣🤣🤣 Kyler Murray is wildly physically gifted, but specially for his size.  He has a laser arm, and he’s a quick, twitchy athlete.  Baseball background, multi-sport star.  And he’s statistically better than Bryce.  In my observations and estimation, his only downside is I don’t think he has ever applied himself and he doesn’t prepare as he should.  He relies on his talent alone, and I think that also carries over to questions about leadership.  But, all of that considered, these guys don’t want him over Bryce.  So again, I ask why?  The same logic is applied to Shedeur.  Hell, I would apply the same logic to Brissett.  Jameis.  Any fuging body with physical talented to throw a football.  If you have the worst starter in the league, proven over almost three full years, what do you owe him?  Hint: It’s not another year.  One can deduce from that point that you could easily find a replacement that will give you better production, even from someone who go isn’t a current starter.     I knew society had gotten dumber, but damn…  “don’t tell me what’s better!  I want to keep fuging myself and nobody can stop me!”🤣🤣🤣
    • https://www.theringer.com/podcasts/the-ringer-fantasy-football-show/2025/12/10/power-ranking-which-qbs-could-change-teams-eagles-therapy-and-a-fantasy-recap-with-chris-ryan-plus-fantasy-court   Here is a good discussion from the guys at the ringer about qbs that could be on the move in the offseason and which teams may need new qbs.   They go in depth about Bryce and the panthers, his trade value etc.  They are not high at all on bryce, like the others (Mike kay, person, Fowler) the only value bryce has at this point is his cheap contract.
