I wouldn't make the trade, but Howell was the obvious pick over Corral.

If Howell had panned out here, we could've kept DJ Moore and this year's pick. Maybe even CMC.

that's no high bar though.  Hell, the Bears backup QB last season looked just as promising as Bryce Young.

I'm hard pressed to name a QB who took to an NFL field last year who didn't. That's the sad truth.
