Given that this is a single comment and totally out of context, with no inflection/intonation/body language, if he actually said 'part of my master plan' there is just something about that that makes me cringe. Gives off Rhule "smartest guy in the room" vibes.

Perhaps just coachspeak, but nothing wrong with acknowledging opportunities to improve. There is plenty to be fixed with Bryce, starting with footwork.

Feel like they are gonna regret that.

After a great rookie year, he was a second year player playing a cerebral position in a poo show of an offense last year.

Quickly jump to bad conclusions much?

Yeah, I'm completely over the big talk about plans. Show me on the field. There's been a LOT of big talk I'm the Tepper era followed by a lot of losing on the field.

So now Bryce is going to play under center as opposed to a near 100 percent from the gun? If you're going to do a lot of play action, it means "under center," right?

We'll see how all this works out. Canales knows more than me, but it kinda seems like pushing a square peg into a round hole. But, I guess I should quell skepticism in favor of optimism...I guess...

    • This is perspective and I think Canales’ dad was a shrink. His description of this lack of urgency which we see is ‘cold blooded’. Not excited just surgical.  Also, the 1 of 11 while a smart way to go, is also a pretty big smoke job probably intended to take pressure off of the QB., But which is it? I don’t think we were looking at cold blooded killer last year. Maybe he can kill something, but he is up against a lot. I am going to have to defend him somewhat on the leadership though because it was his first season and his play was not strong enough for him to start putting people on notice or any talk at all. And his voice... and he looks like a kid. It would probably hurt him more than help him in to be rah rah in that situation. Just grind.
    • Yeah man I don't see the big deal. I played football we develop a brotherhood and I was coached to never quit on your teammates no matter how bad the situation is.   I think CMC is a good person. My issue was with him milking injuries because we were in a bad situation. I can never respect that as a competitor especially from my own teammate.   Some people may disagree that's fine.
    • I'm sure he's devastated that you don't like him and think he's soft. I do agree that I've responded to you way too much.
