Yeah too many people think it's still 1995.

I mean, there are tons of recent studies on NFL players and ACLs.

The average is still about 11 months return to field.  RB, LB, and DL are also statistically are the worst positions to get an ACL injury per studies.

But yeah, there are always dudes that defy the averages.  But every young guy with an ACL isn't going to be part of bringing the average down.

I still think it's a red flag.  I think Carolina should be slow and cautious.  Not get caught in a rush of wanting to see talent just because we lack it.

With an owner like Tepper, how cautious can the folks that work for him afford to be?  What you're saying makes perfect sense and is the optimal way to manage the situation, but sorry to say, there is nothing perfect nor ideal about our situation.  He will most likely be rushed and if even moderately successful, heavily burdened early and often.

Not that I feel the Panthers are in position to draft ahead...although ideally you don't pass up a talent though you may have a starter. As much as I enjoy Hubbard, he shouldn't be the starter, despite his admirable efforts at taking it and holding onto it last season.

The fact that he is speaks volumes about Miles Sanders.

It also speaks volumes to the impact of a strong offensive line. The Cowboys used to devote a lot of draft picks to their line and every back they had ran over everyone until they left. Demarco Murray cones foremost to mind. Sanders ran behind one of the best lines in Philly. Sweat came in and picked up right where he left off. I love having a great RB, but you have to keep investing in your offensive line to be able to use them to their full potential.

Also true. But Miles biggest problem is that he cannot see the hole when there is one. I'm not the only person that's saw that. I hope he does a 180 so the rookie doesn't have to be rush into the lineup. But if he still cannot find the hole in a donut then it's time to cut our losses.

Miles was bad for sure, but our line also sucked ass and he was hurt for a good bit of the season.  Maybe he mailed it in last year after getting paid but he wasnt that bad in philly, he cant catch a cold but he was a decent enough runner

A few examples, not a full list just cherry picks it looks like

all in all it looks like it takes a full 2 years to get everything back

I think quite a few mailed it in last year, including the coaches.

    • I have different  opinion on what is a big time throw. Some of those CJ throws the receiver is running wide open, one of them he completely under throws.
    • agreed, which is why if Bryce gets his poo together the division is for the taking. Even with Bryce sucking we were in every NFC South game last year   yep, a tortured longtime Hornets and Panthers fan
