Met him once a couple years ago and genuinely liked the guy. He took his time to give my kid some advice on mindset and going after it aggressively with his particular sport my kid is into when he really did not have to so he made my nice guy list. I have nothing to say ill of him and I wish him the best of health and best of life in all his endeavors.

You never played football huh?

When you milk injuries you are considered soft. That's not something to brag about and that's a loser mindset.

Fug Rhule I agree. But he turned his back on his teammates as well. Great talent, but I will never respect him because he was never all in on the Panthers.

You've never worked a job huh? If management sucks, all your coworkers are morons and you don't start looking for another job while doing the least you can while you're still there then you're as dumb as management.  Luke retired when he saw that clown show come to town. Go ahead and poo on him too. Is he soft? It's not a loser mindset when you're smart enough to know that you're never going to win with the management you have.

Fug Em!

Lil bastard was milking injuries most of his time here. The moment he leaves he's all of a sudden a workhorse RB and a MVP candidate.

*Poo me up I'm a big boy I can handle it.

I'm not to the point of "f him" because he did a lot for the Panthers and was a beast the first few seasons but I will agree with you on the "milking injuries" the last year or two.

Lamelo doing the same damn thing on the other side of the city.

You got life all wrong my man.

When things get tough you rather quit then work through it with your teammates. If you ever played competitive sports you should know this.

Win as a team and lose as a team. If 1 person is not all in then let him quit. He was never with us.

Sorry but your little man was SOFT! You don't deal with injuries at that position then all of a sudden become a workhorse for your new team and not get injured at all.

Fug CMC and I mean every word!

Well at least Melo has legit ankle problems. That Ball family is made of glass.

CMC just flat out quit on the team because we were bad. The moment he was traded he becomes a new improved version of his injury prone self in Carolina.

Guy is a clown in my eyes. Sorry but I will never respect a player who is not all in. Cam literally got in a bad car accident and played a few weeks later. For those who been in bad car accidents and have a vehicle flipped over you know your body becomes stiff and you can barely move for at least a week. The man was on the field!

You know what teammates are all in and those who are not.

This is a dumb take man.  You just don’t like him.  He had injury issues for 2 of 5.5 seasons here.  Other than that he hasn’t missed a game.  He was an absolute workhorse and he would have come back in those seasons if we weren’t completely out of contention.

odds are he will get hurt again this year being on the cover.

You’re just a hater.

LoL. You set yourself up to be used with that mentality. He didn't quit. He found a path to the playoffs and a much better situation. That's called winning. You probably can't see it with the boot on your face.

It blows my mind anyone could call him soft.  Guy would have every other color on the field on his jersey after every game.  Looked like he went to war every week for a team that pretty much stunk every year he was here.

    • Didn't  see this posted (since 2023) but since folks have been posting that you can't judge a draft class for three years (a ridiculous take), I thought I'd post this to see what people thought about the 2023 draft. Unfortunately this may not be the most interesting class to do this with but I do quite like retrospective draft grades. Would appreciate other's takes on this (and other recent) draft classes.   1(1) - Bryce Young QB: I am a bigger Bryce Young apologist than most (maybe all). I like the kid. But there is no way around it: This was a terrible pick. If he had been picked in the 4th or even the 3rd round I would feel pretty good about it. But this was the first overall pick that we gave up two firsts, our best offensive player to get.  GRADE: C -    2(39) - Jonathan Mingo WR: not much to say here here. He was here for two years. His yards per catch are on par with Bryce's yards per pass. Rough stuff. To date he has still never scored a touchdown in the NFL GRADE: F   3(80) - DJ Johnson OLB: a pick I hated as soon as it happened and an example of why the premise of this thread is honestly dumb. This was a bad pick when it happened. Most people knew it.  Then came training camp and he did not look good. Then came the preseason which confirmed what we saw in TC. Then came the season which confirmed what we saw in preseason. To date, he has half a sack in his career. GRADE: F 4 (114) Chandlers Zavala G: Honestly the best pick of this draft which really speaks to how awful this draft is. Other than Bryce, the only pick still on the team. He is mostly average or below average depth which in round 4 is not terrible. But he had a pff score of 43.5 and though I think people have unrealistic expectations for draft picks, I still would want a little more from a fourth round pick GRADE: C+   5 (145) - Jammie Robinson S: I liked the pick when it happened but ended up being a disappointment. He logged 1 tackle with the falcons last year and not enough snaps to get a grade on PFF.  GRADE: F OVERALL DRAFT GRADE: F
    • You gonna make me post Stank before every game?  I kid, I kid.
