Since Jake this team has had no real direction. It was speed and hands on the outside with Smitty and possession with Moose. Smash mouth running with JStew and speed with DW. Out defense was strong MLB and a viscous front 4. Since then, we've had Cam but never had a plan to build around him and now we have this bastard turd of a brainchild dreamed up by Tepper and Co. How can you expect any scout, coach, player to know what to do when there is no clear message from the top? I have no idea what this team is supposed to be. There has to be a blue print to build. Right now we have a sketch drawn with a ketchup squeeze bottle on a fast food tray liner. -

Injuries and level of talent are not excuses to be a bottom of the league DC. DC is the most important person on the defensive side of the ball as they put players in position to make calls and plays. Evero could have top 10 talent and he would field an average NFL defense. Young was holding the offense back and Evero is holding the defense back. People are willing to hold onto these franchise destroyers for years before admitting the obvious. Snow was terrible and he did more with less in 2020 than Evero has done in 2023 or 2024. -

The game was poetic. The Bears used our #1 pick and DJ Moore to absolutely decimate a defense that is horribly depleted because of all the other picks we had to give them just to have the QB we got in exchange sit on the bench. It was beautiful in a way. A true full circle moment.
