Man whether it's the Panthers or the Hornets it's crazy how many foolish talking heads there are in the local media. I just unsubscribed from locked on Hornets. Doug Branson with his cheesy mustache is an absolute clown especially when his partner isn't on. Talking about trading LaMelo because he can't win basketball games by himself with no semblance whatsoever of a legitimate Center. These YouTube personalities will say anything for a damn click.

Lol I watch Locked On Hornets every now and then. Those guys don't know basketball. They were screaming take Scoot over Miller and we see how that turned out.

I just watch them for the laughs at this point.

I have watched every Hornets game this season, minus the first game against the Heat.  I'm extremely frustrated with the injury situation even though I know it's not the players fault.  It just every season the same damn thing.  No matter who we draft, sign, or trade for, it's like we're cursed.  Melo and Brandon cannot win games by themselves, and it's honestly impressive how close they've come to doing that recently in several close, winnable games.  Mark Williams needs to get his ass back on the court soon or the ownership needs to start thinking long-term Plan B at Center, because without help inside, our dynamic backcourt will continue to see constant double teams.  And I love Moussa but he's not NBA starting center material.  Offensive hands on the level of Biyombo.

You trade Ball because you fleeced another team and/or decide he's not the PG needed for the team or he gets injured and won't be the same again. Honestly, Ball with a pass first PG with him playing SG could be special especially with Miller at the 3.

I think Saluan will work out in the long run. He's very young but plays hard and obviously has talent. He's not even 1/4 of the way through his rookie season. Too soon to call him a bust. I was very unhappy with the pick but I'm going to be optimistic

I am also one who believes he will work out, given time!!!

    • We keep referring to it as Over drafting him like he was really a first round draft pick. We traded up at the end of the first to get him in a deal with Buffalo so that we could grab him and get an extra year on his contract if needed. At the time that sounded like "If he really soars, we can get that fifth year extension automatically". It really probably meant, "We might need five years to really get him up to starting WR speed."  He was basically a second rounder with a potentially meaningless pick as well to pay for those rights. Still, I think that with him we are on the Kelvin Benjamin bubble right now... will he ever be more than just an athlete? Can he really learn to fight and compete for that ball? Can he learn professional routes? Can he handle the fame and more money than he's ever seen in his life? Can he handle all of the pressure a fanbase puts on him? Tough shoes to fill. Not sure I'd want to be in them. I hope he gets it all together soon. A lot, most draftees, can't. Good luck and God bless to the young man. He's got a lot of work to do in a very unforgiving workplace.
    • This is the #1 reason I defend Bryce. Everyone around him is learning on the job, including him. But hey in 3 years we could have a talented offense that grew up together.
    • Nope. No balling out but he could latch on as a backup elsewhere. I still think he would be the weak link on a ridiculously loaded team that would create problems in the Playoff and while facing other really good teams. His limitations are just to much at this level. I have zero fear of playing him in the future. It's a litmus test for the D, granted the D is pretty awful currently so none needed.
