Positive signs from Bryce

The best thing we can do is start Bryce for the rest of the season.

A.  We're not getting anything compensation wise for him now anyway.   May as well see if he can improve enough for another team to give us anything for him.

B.  If he keeps losing, and I believe he will,  we legitimately tank for the #1 pick.

Let's be clear, I would love for Bryce to have an AHA moment and become a solid QB, but i just don't see that happening!

Payton is such a douche.  BTW:  Bryce threw for the most net yrds the Broncos have given up to a QB this season.

Payton was trying to run up the score in the 4th and it finally pissed the defense off. I would love to know what they were saying to him after that trick play they were referring to in the broadcast. Horn and Payton were jawing after the game.

Horn apparently told Payton he didn’t appreciate them running up the score with the game decided.  We all know Sean Payton and how he works

I may be in minority but I saw some positive signs from Bryce today

he stood in the pocket a lot more and threw despite the pressure, attempted throws downfield, showed better command and poise

Negatives; inconsistent accuracy, terrible timing of interceptions, needs to be more aggressive downfield.

i expected a worse performance tbh, he looked improved compared to first two weeks but not sure if he deserves more starts.

part of me wants to see if he can build off this, maybe I’m crazy

Seriously, this isn't an insult, but did you watch the game at all, or do you have some kind of disability? Again, not intending this as an insult.

Exactly just noting that he showed progress..not that he is the answer. Why are people getting so triggered?

People see red when anyone says anything remotely positive about Bryce.

At this point he isn’t the guy but there was probably enough there to let him start next week.

There isn’t anything positive to say. He’s terrible and people are pissed that we wasted years of assets for him to be on this team. fug him and his lazy ass entitled attitude. Netflix and shopping were more important to him than football this offseason. Canales hates him and I’m fairly certain that his teammates do too.

Bullshit! That is patently false. If you're gonna lie, make sure the lie is at least plausible or hard to verify. Stop being a grade-A dumbass, it's wearing really thin. Be stupid somewhere else.

    • I mean, in theory Bryce could get over the hump. That aside, you have to know that due to the situation we are going to give him another year. From some perspectives, it just makes sense. I'm not saying that I agree or disagree with it, but it's not like the draft is chock full of franchise QBs. I'm thinking that only one, the consensus top pick, is destined to be the only one in this draft (and some people don't believe in him). All we can do is sure up the room with an FA (Pickett) and take a swing or two and hope (maybe the dawg Pavia). 2027 should bring better options if it comes to that.
    • Let's be honest here. We have one WR on this team that would be in the top 3 of ANY other team. And he was a rookie last year. I love Coker but he is an often injured UDFA. He wouldn't have even gotten a chance on other teams. The rookie injury would have bounced him around the league for the next 5 years until he stopped trying to make a roster. It's a numbers game for most teams and he would have (at best) been on some team's practice squad. But Carolina has been so devoid of talent at the position, that we didn't have much of a choice. Bryce leaves a lot of questions but to say he hasn't elevated anyone isn't true. No WR has left Carolina since he's started and did better on another team. Not one. And there are several to choose from. Coincidence? Maybe. Probably not.
