Do you resign Dalton for one more season?

Not if there are better options available. They will be forced to sign a FA to hold the spot until they decide who is going to replace Bryce. But don't expect someone that will turn this mess into a playoff team all by themselves.

They are still cap strapped and will have to draft their way our of this. It will be 2 more years before this team is competitive even if they do everything right going forward. How much faith do you have of that happening?

Are we really calling for Jameis Winston now?! He should have had 3 or 4 interceptions last week. Like ball hitting DBs in both hands. Yall would turn on that dude in about 2 weeks.

It was his first game in a long time and he was throwing to a bunch of no name bums at wide receiver.

And that's what you get with Jameis - the good with the bad. Which is still much better than anything we currently have at quarterback

Well Tillman and Jeudy would be WR1 and WR2 on this team. So coming here wouldn't make his situation better.

Dint worry Winston is still Winston. Give him another game or 2 and you will see it.

We'll see. I thought he looked good for New Orleans that half of season he played before injury. And while he did get lucky to not throw some ints, he threw some absolute dimes deep down field that Bryce/Dalton could only dream of.

I really don't understand why he hasn't been a starter for a team in the past couple of years. I think 1/4 of the NFL teams would be better with him at QB than who they currently have.

I could think of worse though to hold us over for a few years while we find our new QB to draft

It's because Winston will only get your team through half the season at most before you have to bench him. You cannot sign him thinking he's a 2 year bridge qb. As a backup? Sure, but if your plan is to start him for a couple of years I doubt you survive as a head coach long enough to see year 2 of your contract.
