Mike fuging Remmers

More like Mike fuging Shula. The Falcons did us a massive favor in denying us an undefeated season. They showed us what the Temu version of Von Miller could do to Mike Remmers. Mike Shula was like... nah, just a fluke. I'm sure the guy that got turned into a speed bump by Vic Beasley will be fine against Von Miller.

Saquon should really be in the MVP discussion. He looks like the best player in the league right now.

MVP isn't about the best player in the league. It's about the best player out of the SB contenders. He's gotta be in the mix though. My top five would probably be Allen, Lamar, Mahomes, Goff, and Barkley

If its not a qb, then both Henry and Barkley would need to be in it.

With the new rules leading to a pass happy league I don't know if a non-QB will ever win it again.  RBs used to win it fairly regularly but it's been 11 straight years of QBs. Lawrence Taylor was the last defensive MVP and that was damn near 40 years ago.

Side note... I didn't realize Brett Favre won three straight MVPs. Damn

I honestly think that there should be separate MVP awards for qb vs every other position.  The QB is always the MVP on any good team these days.  Its a lot harder to win with a backup qb than with a back up RB or DE.

Honestly Cooper Kupp should've won the MVP in 2021. Dude has almost 2000 and 16 YDs. The Rams' second leading receiver had 800 yards and 6 TDs.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
