some people don't want to believe the product they are seeing when they actually watch the game. 

when you are watching what he does, it's hard to not see how good he is actually doing out there unless you are willfully choosing to ignore it just so you can keep your argument going.

Good lord is it ever. People posting his stats alone from last game... Or people claiming he's playing at a "top 20" or jag level.

I get being cautious and saying we need more games and I also don't begrudge wanting to make sure we have Canales picking the rest of the QB room next year. I think those are smart places to be.

But the way Bryce is playing - look, the Eagles had multiple weeks of New Bryce to look at. They definitely did some things differently and ultimately Bryce still put us in a position to win the game. Week by week, I'm getting less worried that he's going to get "figured out" like Allen, Bridgewater, etc.  He attacks every level of the field.

No joke, he’s about 2 more games like this away from me penning an apology letter. 

Some people double down on prior statements because they don’t want to admit they were wrong. Me tho, I got no problem and will be very excited if I am wrong.
 

just want to see a bit more of those, that’s all.

i'm still finding myself actually getting more excited to watch him when i see a blitz coming. it's amazing how well he handles those pressure situations. 

who would have thunk we'd be seeing this guy doing these things after what we saw the first year and a half? 

he doesn't look like a scared kid out there anymore. i mean he still looks like a kid, but he's looking like a rockstar compared to what we were seeing.

This is one of the biggest and more exciting differences for sure. He seems so elusive now and he sees blitzes as a chance to punish other teams. It's like.... If they don't get him, we're about to get a 20 yard gain, lol. 

He used to panic when people got near him and now he just maneuvers and finds the open player... It's pretty impressive, and a big reason I'm not worried about him being 'figured out.'

That play out of the endzone yesterday was just amazing

Agreed, but dare I say his confidence seems to have added a couple of inches to his stature, lol

      Except it takes those QB's a few years to develop because they needed to learn the mental side of the game and have it catch up to their physical attributes. Bryce was supposed to be a QB savant who already had a fully developed mental side of the game and that was going to make up for his lack of physical ability.  And his lack of NFL level QB physical traits has been clear as day to anyone who has watched him the last 3 years, mainly, he just doesn't have an NFL arm, he can't zip the ball into tight spaces or throw on a line down the field like is needed at this level.

      Don’t recall seeing many of his interviews but what strikes me is that he engages and goes in depth. Even with the cliche answers as referenced by OP come across somewhat thoughtful.  Very likable personality despite being someone who can crush an average person like I can crush a paper cup. I knew Motons mother had a career at MSU but was looking on the google and found that Mushin Muhammad personally knew Motons grandfather.   His late grandfather was a professor at MSU.   Cool guy.  Interesting family and small world.

      I think people aren’t patient enough with Young. It can take a few years for a QB to develop. Look at Darnold, Baker and most recently Daniel Jones.   he hasn’t been able to put up big passing numbers either cause of how much we run the ball. You can tell our coaching staff still hasn’t took the training wheels off Bryce and let him go all out. We’ve had some pretty bad receivers as well. We finally got a true number one last year and look how much Bryce improved. Still we didn’t really have any depth behind TMac. Coker was hurt for a lot of the year and XL was our #2. How many big plays or TDs has XL dropped? I think this year can be the year we see Bryce able to hit his stride. If not then we can start looking for another qb but I just ask people to be patient.
