If Carolina wanted a slot WR/KR then why waste a pick on a Mike Vick wannabe. This kid is gonna have the same impact that Pat White had last year for the Dolphins, which will be jack poo. If we were gonna trade our next yrs second to move into this yrs third then we shoulda traded in front of Cincy to grab Shipley, But NOOOO....we traded to pick up an undersized inexperienced "possible" receiver who has nevver played the position before. The Lafell pick was fvckin stupid also dezmon briscoe was still on the board and I see him as the better receiver of the two. And the Clausen pick wtf was with that we have Moore we didn't absolutely need a fvckin QB especially with our first pick, Tate was on the board and we passed on him this is by far going to be one of the worst panthers draft of all time.....fvck this FO that's why your gone next year Fox and Hurney bye bitches. Oh and for everyone saying WOOT WOOT our offense has too many weapons now, HA Edwards won't do a damn thing against these pro D's Lafell is too slow to get separation (everyone complains about jarretts speed but this guy can't get separation either) fvck this draft and no 2nd next year, fvck the FO

haha wonderful

f*ck yeah

QB competition with big talent

A fast QB/WR Hybrid

& a Mini-Moose

Whatever, I'm happy

Yeah.

Thank God some of these clowns complaining arent in the FO.

Only pressing needs now are DE/DT and LB depth.

Everson Griffen, Corey Wooton or Austen Lane will be there in the 4th when we draft.

I am loving the draft so far. So what we traded next years pick, we do it every year and we are trying to win now. The Offense is loaded now and very, very talented.

Edwards is the new Kordell Stewart. QB, RB, WR, return man and wildcat, once a dream now a reality.

He won't even make the Team! Piss poor deal. 5th round MAYBE! We needed at DT not a D2 185 lb wet noodle. He'll wanna quit after the first welcome to the NFL hit

Come on, your getting carried away aren't you? No way he would have made it back around to the panthers. I do agree a second is kind of steep however we didn't swap 3rd round picks so thats to be expected. Edwards is damn near untouchable in the open field. Kind of reminds me of Desan Jackson, who is a 175lb wet noodle who does just fine. He caught passes in his pro day and I'm sure he did again in his private workout with the Panthers. I doubt if he would have made it pass Jacksonville. I think Joshua Cribbs made the transition just fine. I think Edwards will too.

I wasn't happy about giving up the 2nd, but after hearing the guys on NFLN gush about him, I was really excited. Corey Chavous, who did a really good job throughout today's broadcast, said Edwards is amazing. He said one of the games Edwards dodged several tackles and threw the ball up 65 yards in the air... At 5'10"... That is ridiculous.

Tony Softli who use to be our director of college scouting now a VP with the Rams was quoted in the Observer's wrap that Edwards is a 3rd QB/Wildcat guy like Seneca Wallace has been. Another guy says he throws a lot better than The Golden Calf of Bristol as a QB. Then to hear the guys on NFLN talking about how athletic he is and how hard he is to bring down in the open field... I'm telling you, it's a good pick. The guy makes plays and I could care less about App. St. Football for the most part.

Yep that sounds like we're carrying 2 QBs this year with Edwards as the #3 if it comes to that.
