did we have an old anthem?

I remember some lame song that featured dudes in sweats running across the field with flags.

Then there was this (my favorite, but hard to duplicate):

The bar is high.

I think the Ked Woodley song might be more iconic for us than the Keep Pounding manta...

It's fantastic, don't hate

Other teams (like the Packers) have a HUGE history of old school songs in their team library in all sorts of genres.  We need more variety of quick, catchy singalongs that are unique to us

oh the song doesn't bother me, it was the combination with the flags and the feeling they were trying to establish some sort of football nostalgia with a franchise that was brand new

it's been played at BoA a few times the last couple of years or so, and I've sung along (the best I can on old guy memory)

why not click into X

It was annoying, just like most social media. Got even more annoying with new ownership. Was annoying, now annoying and weird.

It needs to just go away.

Watch, with the end of season momentum, and a new theme song in the works, a jersey redesign is probably in the works too. If they do, I hope it's very minor changes here or there, kinda like the Broncos new jerseys: very similar, just slightly different to make it feel fresh.

Why would the Panthers, as an organization, embrace hang bangers like DaBaby. I appreciate his story and how he came up from nothing but man, he’s left more than a few bodies in his wake doing it. The only way you do this is if he has fully cut ties with that life.

the last thing we, as a society, need is the glamourizarioj associated with that life. I understand many guys don’t have a choice when young but unless he’s out giving back to the community and actively helping kids stay away from that life, it’s a hard, hard pass from me.

we already have that sort of representation in the NBA. Tired of reading about dead rappers and the lifestyle has only gotten harder with social media. Killing for clout now.

    • Likewise. It’s been a bad team to watch for most of the last 6 years, so it’s hard to spend too much time here.   Your team is still good. They seem to play up or down to their competition. Hopefully this gets them focused and realizing that a C- effort can get them beat by anybody.
    • That’s not how it works, especially since we don’t have Horn follow #1s. It’s hell because the other team is usually throwing at you because Horn takes away the other option.
    • Jackson could never intercept a ball for the rest of his career and he’s still a very solid starting CB. It’s crazy to me people are saying things like he sucks or a good team would replace him. He’s been very good at covering guys and deflecting passes, which is even more impressive given that teams avoid the other side of the field cuz of Horn. Jackson is one of the better #2 CBs in the league and no amount of dropped interceptions changes that.
