Jonathan Stewart comparison

Is it just me or does JStew remind you of Ricky Williams? After watching the espn special 30 for 30 on Ricky Williams I realized how much of a beast the guy was and started watching some youtube videos of the guy. After watching the video I posted I started thinking how he and JStew run very similar. They are also both 5-10 and weigh around 230. Ricky Williams like it or not is one of the best running backs of all in the NFL and College. If he didn't have his problems then he would no doubt be breaking records this year. Ricky is a running back that has tremendous power but has great speed that can help him break a long run. Ricky Stepped up and put another 1000 yard season under his belt and since he spent so many years out he could play many more years because his body doesn't have the wear and tear that many RBs his age does.

Here are some videos I found on ricky watch them then see JStew and tell me they dont resemble each other

eh. i see it, but i've always thought ricky and deangelo williams had the same running style...but ricky runs with more attitude and is more physical.

stewart has always reminded me of a more elusive natron means... you can almost count on them running downhill and both have the same "i'm not going down so you better hold on until help gets here" attitude.

Ricky had/has a lower pad level, more speed, and more elusiveness than Jonathan Stewart. Stewart is your ideal between the tackles runner that's going to get yardage the hard way when he has to. Ricky was more of a hybrid like DeAngelo in the sense that he could hurt you either by breaking your ankles or running you over. Ricky had the potential to be the best to ever play, but mental problems and drug problems drained that ability.

Stewart in open field doesn't really scare anybody in the sense that they can't catch him. He's fast enough, but he's not "Oh wow, that just happened", fast.

...but not quite in DeAngelo's league. Simply does not have DeAngelo's moves, though he is probably a touch more powerful. DeAngelo has averaged 5.0 yards a carry for three years. Williams has never been there for a yearly average.

The above being said, if he did not have mental issues, perhaps the above would be a bit different.
