Lafell seems quicker then moose, no?

pre or post Chicago?

All I know is every question asked about this team just makes me more and more excited for Thursday night!!:)

that said, Jarrett, Colbet, etc. I ain't buy WR hype from anyone not named Steve Smith until I see them school someone on the field.

All this means is that LaFell is getting work with the 1s to help develop chemistry between he and Moore. It does increase the liklihood that he may get some work this Thursday with the 1s although how much remains to be seen.

I think most folks forget that few guys were considered better than LaFell at the end of his junior year. If he has decided to enter the draft last year he may have been the first or second receiver drafted.

LOL same would go for Greg Hardy as well. We might have over paid for Edwards but its possible we might make it back up with LaFell, Hardy, and maybe Norwood.

I hope he doesn't drop passes that hit him in the chest like moose did

Really? I hope he can block like Moose, catch at 3rd and 15 Like Moose and be better at snaking kids like Moose. Let's hope that the crowd can see him, as while I am told DJ is here for 2010, I sure hope we do not have another Carter in our midst...DJ better produce!

    • I think the qualification has changed over time though. A deep ball play used to take 4 to 6 seconds for the receiver to get to that spot on the field. Now a receiver can be there in 2.5. That's less time than most QBs have to set and throw. In my mind a deep route takes time to develop. A crossing route and a deep route can't take the same amount of time at full speed. You can have 4 deep balls on the same drive,  almost 5 if you do 5 20 yard throws goal line to goal line. That doesn't even make sense when you say it out loud.
    • The sad part is it looks manicured enough that he's aware it's running away from him.  Also, I just wanted to give you some fun loving grief on King Haynes today having a chance to throw a game winning TD, and was wildly errant, and ultimately picked off to end the game.  So happy I won't have to hear anything else about The Golden Calf of Bristol lite ever again watching college football.
    • I just think Panthers believe in Bryce far more than the fans do and he is most likely going to be the QB at least the next two seasons. the real shot of us moving from Bryce is not getting an extension, till then they are going to give him every chance to succeed and I just want to win.
