Kenny Moore has "disappeared" since the first week of camp

Like I said, nothing against him personally, but he's too inconsistent and he's had longer to prove himself than say Trent Guy or Gettis. I'd rather give them time and see what they can do as a member of our team b/c they have more potential.

Moore had multiple opportunities to step up and make plays - including last year, and he didn't impress. It's time to move on.

I don't see many 4 WR sets in the near future. If anything, it will be 3 WRs plus Rosario or Barnidge. Maybe even a RB in slot (Goodson).

Unless you are a seer, don't know how you would be able to tell whether we will run any 4 receiver sets. Lets at least wait until the regular season starts and see who makes the teams to decide if we have the personnel to run a 4 wide set. We ran them in OTAs.

Depends what Gettis is like on STs. He's got the talent to contribute down the road, but he probably won't this season. I think they'll look for a way to keep him around.

So far his special teams contribution consists of being pushed back into the returner.

Gettis isn't making the 53 man roster, absent injuries decimating those in front of him on the depth chart.

Kenny Moore disappeared last year too.

My fear is that he's one of those guys you perpetually think is "going to be good" when you see him in minicamps and such but he never actually is when the live bullets start flying.

Granted, he could step up, but I don't think I'd expect it.

I don't see how he has disappeared when he had a good preseason game. I guess tonight will tell.

He also seems to work well with Matt Moore but was relegated to playing with Clausen in the last preseason game. Still, he produced when given the opportunity in the preseason game. I don't see what the big deal is except that a couple of sports reporters, some with a personal vendetta against players of certain positions on the team, broadcast a short twitter post or something else relatively insignificant about Moore "disappearing" since the start of TC.

If anyone looks bad, it's Armanti Edwards. This guy might have been the fastest in 1-AA ball, but you can really tell he isnt that fast being around better athletes. He looked extremely uncomfortable catching punts against the Ravens, and showed no playmaking ability when the ball was in his hands.

He is fast and quick he just has not learned how to be a WR or PR yet. I will give him a year. That's only fair.

jason carter

had he not gotten hurt prior to the '08 season we would see a lot more similarity between him and kenny moore as far as PT and stats go.

it could be due to the fact that he is brand new at catching punts or something like that.

give him a chance.

or don't. no one really cares.

I still think he could make the team

It is a shame that Panthers WR Kenny Moore always starts strong then fades somehat at the end.

However,i will still be pulling for him and hoping something positive can happen for him in the next three preseason games.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
