Kenny Moore has "disappeared" since the first week of camp

I think a lot of the Jarrett hate is overblown. I bet you Jarrett will step up in the next few pre-season games, and people will be singing a different tune. Jarret is the same as as Lafell, he was young, dumb, kid, and now all indications are he's matured and having a great camp. He has the ability, now he has the chance to get out and show it.. We'll see if it happens.

There was nothing more for him to be with Moose on the roster the past couple seasons.

I agree. He has to prove he can be a #2 WR. IMO, he hasn't gotten the chance to legitimately prove whether he has it or not until this season.

I'll leave spectacular to Smitty. I just want reliable.

Jarrett could not beat out anyone. Thats why he didnt get activated. If you dont play ST and you dont shine at your Job you get put on the Inactive list. To say he has not got his shot is just silly when you add the facts up.

we can agree to disagree then. The only thing he has had a shot to be is a #3 WR the past couple years. When Moose was signed that was a given until Moose left.

A #3 WR ain't gonna find the field often when you run the ball like Carolina does. Those type sets arent gonna be something a power run game is gonna operate out of.

Some of you are crazy. Jarrett will make the team. Moore will get cut. What has Moore done to make the team. And stop saying he's good on special teams. The guy cost us a game last season.

I can list 3 things off the top of my head that Moore can do that Jarrett cant. These 3 things will keep him on the team as well

#1 Run routes correctly.

#2 Play ST.

#3 Beat defenders off the line.

Im sure there are more but that what I can think of now.

Jarrett has the ideal body to play #2 in Carolina

is a better blocker

has better hands

A Receiver is a Receiver no matter what number they are. Just because We put Smith in the slot dose not make him worse... I would agree with you if he would have held down the slot position last year or even stepped up when Moose was out but he really didn't. Now I will also say Delhomme was horrible but a lot of the stuff he did was not Delhommes fault. He really has not shown anything to make me think he can be a WR on this team. He is just another version of Kerry Colbert.

Never said Moore was going to be Number 2. I have my money on LeFell for that one.

Besides blocking they are about equal and well Jarrett dose have the better hands. I will give you that one.

now from Gantt

Wide receiver Kenny Moore: Came to camp on even footing for the second starting job, but has disappeared after a good first week to the point there may not be a roster spot for him. Roster math is not in his favor, as he’ll be fighting for a sixth-wideout job that may not exist.

    • To kick this up, The Athletic has a really comprehensive piece out where pretty much all QB questions are addressed. It is worth seeing.  https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/7083539/2026/03/04/starting-quarterback-projections-free-agency-draft/?source=user_shared_article I’m putting something specific here but it should have a thread or something. It is an extensive exercise.  This is a dense write up with a lot of column inches used, about the Jets and Murray and Reich, all this stuff.. then it goes to backup QB and there is Dalton.  I am pasting that part: As for Dalton, Reich is installing the offense he was trying to run in Carolina in 2023 before he got fired, and Dalton was with the Panthers then; he’s an ideal option as a veteran backup to replace Taylor. Reich said this about Dalton in 2023: “The way he's throwing the football, the way he works through progressions, the way he handles the operation. … Since day one (when) he walked in the door, I'm like, 'This guy is starter-worthy.' You guys know I've said that all along. He's, in my opinion, one of the best 32 quarterbacks in the world.” ——— That’s true love lol. I never heard any of this. Pretty crazy I think, considering how the year went.   Anyway the dream is not dead. .
    • The Seahawks traded for wide receiver/returner Rashid Shaheed at the trade deadline. He proved to be a key acquisition. Shaheed returned a punt and a kickoff for touchdowns in the regular season and had a 95-yard kickoff return in the postseason. Shaheed, though, is scheduled for free agency. So, the 12 games he played, including the postseason, might be the extent of his time in Seattle. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Shaheed and the Seahawks are not close to an extension, and the expectation is that the two-time Pro Bowler will hit free agency. Shaheed has 153 receptions for 2,243 yards and 12 touchdowns in his four-year career to go along with three punt return touchdowns and a kickoff return touchdown. He ranks 13th on PFT’s top-100 free agents. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/report-rashid-shaheed-appears-headed-to-free-agency
