There isn't 1 WR or TE that impresses me at 8 in this draft. it sounds like they will draft poorly again but that's not really surprising unfortunately.

I mean, Warren just put up one of the best seasons by a TE in a long time (ever, really), and that doesn't impress you?  Come on, Wally.

A slow blocking TE using his size in school? I don't get the hype. Looks like a 2nd or 3rd round great TE pick. I still haven't seen any workout info on him. My guess is he is a solid TE but not a 1st round pick at this point. Not impressed honestly.

The very first highlight in this video is him taking it to the house from the wildcat, but what really highlights his speed is #10 from Purdue. That's Kyndrich Breedlove, a track athlete that clocked multiple sub-4.5 40s as a high schooler back in 2019.

I'm not claiming that Warren is running a 4.4, but pulling away from a track guy as a TE is impressive.

Looks 4.7ish to me.

I got a feeling, there is something up with Icky. This is going under-radar, but it needs to be watched with Hawkeyes.

My theory is there are a few plans, the main one is to replace Motown with Ickey. Shock the huddle with 3rd or 2nd round LT pick that the group of OL Coaches(fyi there are 3) want as their vision of LT. Icky is better fit and RT are cheaper to pay.

So a starting LT for Bryce from the 2nd or 3rd round? That sounds risky or do you mean we take one this year expecting him to start in '26?

If that were the case why not take Campbell at 8? I mean you want the best LT then he will most likely be the bpa.

I think the plan is to see if a top talent falls to 8: graham, hunter or carter (unlikely)

If and when that doesn't happen I could see us trading back for a team desperate for O-line help and taking Golden and I'd be very happy with that plan

Campbell is intriguing or just draft Membou. Just depends where Moton really is health wise and Ickey is development wise in their eyes.

Is it just me or did a bunch of the top teir 2 guys going early this year skip drills or am I reading that wrong?

    • lmao that's a good point; but at the same time I think and HOPE Canales learned from how he operated last year, only giving us one real look against the Bills that had people shouting 'Super Bowl'...only to come out flat.
    • I mean the whole defense was trash, he was at least trying. Besides if you put a all-pro among 10 PSers, that all-world will look human. It's very hard to judge very bad units and find the best players among them. Horn and Mjack played well too, there was 0 pass rush and -1777784 run defense.
    • I was looking back and seen Evan Neal has made the switch to OG after awful years at OT.......I wanted him over Icky for his tricep alone..... I was 100% stroud too, I was super pissed about his record setting and playoff leading start......I had arich vastly over the midget BY too. But right now, BY is about the only one on the up&up. The Texans used lots of prime draft capital to help Stroud.  It's still not ready. But if you're honestly about past drafts, these GMs are not alone in making mistakes.  I still feel they should stayed put and allowed Carter to fall in their lap, but best I know Tepper had the worst rage about landing a QB for the past 5 years. The deal is with the correct coaching staff, Baker or darnold would still be here....Baker has signed 3 years for 100 million, which is a great NFL QB contract. Tepper hiring rhule and his shitty Baylor/temple staff was a massive setback given rhule was in control too. Then panic set in an d fitteerererererer had to make a winner and find a QB. Ugh.....I hope they are back...
