The WR core according to Gantt

Also, if we keep those 5 and something happened to Smith, who plays #1 WR?

Moore would set records for coverage sacks waiting for Jarrett to clear defenders. LaFell doesn't seem ready and would probably drop the few balls Moore managed to hookshot over whatever defensive end is about to decapitate him.

Wallace Wright?

I still think we carry six and Moore makes it. If we get rid of Jarrett, then Gettis makes it.

We may try to stash Gettis on the practice squad, but someone will nab him.

I just dont see the reason, Beaux. 6 wr's for what? Why would we NEED Moore on the roster. I gotta say, if he makes the roster then that should mean one of two things about him. Either he is a madman on ST's or he has the potential to be MUCH more than he is now. Undoubtedly, your opinion differs on the latter and you do think that he can be much more, but we have our hands full with two rookies (AND another receiver who might actually be dumber than Dexter Manley). . .can the coaching staff handle juggling all that at WR at one time?

It's my impression that you take a few young guys and you work with em. If you take too many young guys then maybe they dont progress as well as they could. Fahk Idk how it works man, but I personally would rather tutor one person at a time than 4.

    • Been here a while but rarely post and most of them are smartazz. Mostly lurk just so I can sound informed while hanging out drinking beer in my neighbors garage. Amusingly a Huddle level of knowledge kind of makes you a subject matter expert. Thanks for that.
    • That’s similar as saying MVP Cam is the same as rookie Cam because his mechanics didn’t change. We’re talking about production.
    • In 2025 Sam Darnold had over 1k more passing yards than Bryce Young on 1 less pass attempt. Repeat that to yourself several times and let it sink in. I absolutely love it when people come on here and invoke Sam Darnold like some gotcha. Darnold is the physical prototype for what anyone needs in a franchise QB. All the physical tools. Few people thought he would put it all together on the mental side of the position. He used to make some of the worst decisions you would ever see. At times in the past he made up for that with absurd throws and athleticism. But make no mistake whatsoever no matter how you feel about our starting QB. Bryce Young is a completely opposite conundrum. He lacks virtually any and all physical tools and athleticism and his elite processing is really mediocre at best on a good day and horrific on a bad day. These are realities people should have already been addressing instead of quadrupling down in year four.
