I think smitty is seeing himself as an adult and father figure, and wouldn't want his kids spouting stuff out in public that could possibly make them look bad. That being said, i feel as though he will be aggressive and intimidating on the field, like always. I think its a sign of maturity, which is nice to see. IMO
