Split backs with Goodson and Deangelo throwing a screen pass to either. And just keep running this play until the defense stops it. I can almost guarentee numerous first downs if carolina utilizes the screen pass heavily.

I remember a game this season where we started off with a screen pass to DeAngelo, and I believe it got a first down or at least a pretty decent amount of yards. Was a successful play to start out the game.

There was a time when the 49ers were the class of the NFC West and we were just the upstarts. Yet we used to kick their ass. That was so satisfying. Sadly now both franchises are in disarray.

A win now would just be thank God we won't go 0-16.

It would at least slow down the blitzes or possibly leave a TE wide open but this isn't going to get men out of the box. I agree we need to use the screen more, but we also need to be able to hit quick slants, and just about every other route that isn't just a short little drag route.
