Expectations for Sunday

What are your expectations for the game this Sunday? I am not as interested in what you want to happen or what you think needs to happen to win but what you think will happen. If Gettis only catches 4 for 60 is that bad? What about 3 for 30? If Moore only throws for 225 yards and 1 TD is that bad?

I think Gettis comes back down to about 75 with a TD.

Moore goes for 250 with 2 TDs.

Smith goes for 90 with no TDs again.

I think the run game gets going this week totaling around 155 yards and 1 TD.

I also think the TEs get on the board with a TD catch this week.

Your thoughts?

(Sorry I just wanted to get back to football discussion and not Mod discussion)

Well,

I believe the Defense will hold Braford to some low number like 15-37 142 yds 1 td and 3 int ( Taking 1 pic to the house)

Hopfully the run game gets going like you said

Think Smith finds the end zone twice against a beat up secondary

Not wishing but I think S-Jax gets knocked out the game in the 2nd quarter

We come away with a victory of 28 to 17

If D.Will is going to be out, or limited, then Stew and Goodson get to carry teh rock. STL doesnt really know about 33 and hes gonna gash them for like 147.. Moore continues to play solid, completing 62.2% for 289. We should have 2 rec'ving TDs, and 1 on the ground. Kasay will put 2 up, from 37 & a 51 yarder for the win halfway through teh 4th... Defense doesnt back off a bit, getting 2 INTs and a FF from Anderson or Hardy...Or so I hope...

      Dude, I think I might be having Jarvy withdrawals... I ripped the sleeves off of all of my t-shirts in my sleep last night. Every bite of my Alpha-Bita cereal spelled Seth, this morning. And, I took 7 naps before lunch. I'm losing it guys! Jarvy's Jaunty Band of Jaggoffs are getting more play than he is... smh Team Canada doesn't treasure Jarvis the way he deserves. He should take his band down to Liechtenstein, get a bag of passports, and start his own Olympic team! The raw animal magnetism of Jarvilicious will bring in a handful of NHLers on its own. And, since the IOC believes in collective punishment, he could have his pick of the rookies. Then, just fill out the rest of the roster with the maple blooded great white northerners who couldn't make the top squad. Can't trust this assembled awesomery to just any old Liechtensteinien with a clipboard and a whistle. Gotta bring in a legend worthy of this gold medal gambit. A hockey HOFer with the balls to buck the system and the aura to match our maverick. Huere geil, Vaduz!!! 2030 Gold Medal guaranteed!

      Tennessee isn't trading a QB on a 2nd round contract that has starting experience.  That's bad business.

      OT is the top priority as it is both an immediate and future need.  I wouldn't be past trading up slightly to get the guy we want.  You need that rookie contract right now.  Icky is a dead 17.5 million for the season.  Morton is 20+ mil for the season, Hunt is 20+ mil for the season.  There needs to be forward thinking regarding the future.   Caleb Lomu is a left Tackle, he's a solid prospect, he may be the best pick for us now and in the future.  I would seriously consider cutting Hunt after 2026, and let Lomu and Icky fight for the LT job, loser moves inside.  Icky's future may be at guard after this injury anyway.  If Damien Lewis keeps up his level of play he will need to be paid sooner rather than later.  Yosh and BC can be our top two depth OL at an affordable price.  You will need to look at OT again in 2027. Getting an EDGE for the sake of getting an EDGE outside of the top 10 is pretty risky.  I wouldn't be against eyeing someone like Cashius Howell, Derrick Moore, or TJ Parker in the 2nd (even if we trade a future pick to move up) or DDS in the third. I'd love to see us try to sign both Leo Chenal and Matt Millano in FA.   Chenal for the blitzing element we are missing from our LB corps and Millano for his elite coverage.  They could both work in tandem.  Remember, our FO has deep ties to both KC and Buffalo. I love thinking about the draft, but until Free Agency hits, we are clueless.  Looking at the strength of FA and the draft, OL is priority #1, LB #2, and EDGE #3.  We know what happens to Bryce when protection falls apart.
