I find it amazing that....

We kept it within 7 in the 4th quarter. It may have just been me, but I felt as if we had a (albeit faint) glimmer of hope. Up until the 2 defensive TD's by the Ravens (thanks St. Pierre). It shows how the defense has been playing to keep the game within reach. Ultimately we were outmatched, but it means something to me that the defense was able to hold the Ravens for that long.

Yeah, I'm searching long and hard for positives. Outside of Goodson, that was about it.

I don't think he had the option... I think they were limiting his field to half... remember it's a guy who had only a few snaps in the NFL and only a week on the team... with all that against him, he did okay up till the end of the fourth quarter... he should have never been in then position.. but I think atleast it might open some jobs for him.

I missed the Gettis and Smitty being wide open. But what I did see was 2 perfectly thrown balls to Ravens defenders that was taken back for 6

Kind of represents our season. As soon as we get a glimmer of hope, something comes, swoops in, takes that hope back to the house for 6, and spikes it to make us feel worse

What koolaid is everyone drinking? Yeah, those ints were terrible. I saw an outstanding Raven defense playing. Who'd a thunk there'd be anything like that from the Ravens? But IMO our defense failed to hold them early and we paid the price late. Last Sunday vs Bucs our D was exposed and the Ravens just took advantage of what they saw on tape. Most of the afternoon the Raven WR's were wide open. Rice could run where ever he wanted to. How about walking into the end zone.

This was a player loss. Not coaches, not JR, not refs, players failed to execute. Period. This to me was the worst loss of the season. Ravens attacked every one of our weaknesses systematically. We are not better than we were in game 1.

That is what concerned me the most. It isn't difficult to point out our weaknesses. What remains to be seen is how the coaching staff tries to mask those weaknesses (o-line, offense, QB, etc...). Knowing Fox, we will end up finding ways to expose those areas even more. I don't have a good feeling about the Cleveland game, seeing all of this.

    • Yep, choosing a narrative. LOL This is how you end up singling out players from over 20 years ago who were single handedly making us relevant at the time. Stop being dumb.
    • The Super Bowl winning coach might be the only guy who has guaranteed job security for next season. Otherwise, you could go 0-17 and somehow keep your job or lose in the Divisional Round and get fired. It really comes down to the specific circumstances and the owner.  That said, definitely would not want to be Aaron Glenn. Being the HC of a bad franchise is a perpetual hot seat because management is going to be impatient and/or incompetent.
    • The player I’m singling out sets the tone for everyone else. Just because “everyone else is” doesn’t excuse Caleb.  It actually makes it worse as he should be the one pulling everyone out of that.    And thats my issue with him. Incredibly skilled, marginally aggressive on both ends.    A lot of this is Hubert. If Wilson played for Calipari or Izzo he’d be averaging 30 and 12. He’s that good, unfortunately he’s also that unmotivated.
