I miss the team that Delhomme was a part of that year.

There's a big difference.

this.

people don't necessarily miss delhomme, they miss the memories of playoff games and awesome wins that were a huge part of his career. with any luck we can get back to those winning ways with a new franchise quarterback.

I do miss Jake streaking down the sideline after a long TD.

I miss the guy showing up to practice in his broke pick up (or so the story goes)

I miss his Cajun fire and his leadership, how he'd get in other players faces, and chew out the refs for stupid calls.

He'll always be one of my favorite Panthers.

Jake was a good QB for a good many years, and he didn't deserve how this fanbase treated him after the Arizona game (nor does any player, some of you people are insane)

Wish some of the newer fans would put their biased memories of him aside and realize what a great player and person he was. Coolest Cat ever.

He was a great Panther. Do miss him.

I miss Delhome yes. He was very good 2003 to 2005.

But he also just imploded at times.

Very, very special panther but we need to take a shot at a franchise QB with proper throwing mechanics who doesn't get by on pure passion and fire. At least every once in a while. Journeymen have their place but so do those hot prospects in the 1st round.

He was the definition of a gunslinger, brilliant at times(his playoff performances) or horrible at time(his other playoff performances).
