IMHO, i never thought we shuda let Felton or Tyson go.. it was always Diaw who we should have packaged with DJ to upgrade the backup PG or add big to replace Theo in the mix..

Jax and Wallace have now spoken about DJ in and how they really feel.. that was Harsh.. i cant see DJ truely being successful here.. I saw we Again- package DJ and Diaw for a legit starting PG.. one that can defend and run the team..

we arent going to get bigger.. every team in the NBA wants to get bigger, legit starting C's arent out there or else everyone would have one.. lets cut the loses and find a PG, please

draft and trades are the only way to upgrade.. no free agent wants to come to charlotte..

to build a reputable organization we need to be a playoff team for at least 2-3 years in a row.. not a title contender, just a bottom to mid level team in the playoffs.. keeping Felton and Tyson would have at least cemented the 8th spot for us.. now we have to find a way to chip in..

MJ went balls to the wall on a dream shot at CP3.. everyone knew it was a long, long LONG shot.. we should have just stayed with our squad- payed Felton and Chandler and cut the dead weight to get under the cap somehow.. even if we just payed Felton and traded Chandler for Dampier and cut him we would still be in a better mess than we are now.. cus now we have like 10mil locked up into Carroll and Najera.. omg

The answer is no. We are only a game out of the 8th spot.

That is answer is wrong of course since this team and franchise is going no where.

We just need to start drafting better and going all in on trades.

exactly.. and stop blowing our lottery picks on nobodies and bad trades. Its time to cut salary cap and rebuild from the ground up like the Panthers are. Yea we'll suck for a few years but might as well do it now rather than wait

We have a PG, and he's playing pretty damn well. He may not have the fire or killer instinct of a Deron Williams or vocal leadership of Chris Paul, but his stats look great so far this year. I wonder how much better his assists would look if we had consistent scorers.

How about we cut the me-first players and get some team ball players in here?

I wrote this on BobcatsPlanet and got minimal response, besides just a few guys who I've always had pretty good discussions with on there... Anyway, here it is:

I was completely blown away that Jack and Crash would even say anything like this in a published article. At least go with the "anonymous source" route. As I was reading it, my jaw just kept dropping. I get that Felton was a leader, but they were in this article talking about him like a f*cking Marvel Comic. I don't get it. And for all that personality and intensity he brought, it didn't prevent him from getting his ass busted by Jameer Nelson in the playoffs.

This is ridiculous. And DJ has done nothing but played his ass off this year. Sure, he's had a few off games, but the guy is balling, just like I predicted he would if given the opportunity last year. Sorry if he's not super-expressive, but you don't have to be to be a leader. Why do Jack, who supposedly had DJ's back, and Crash feel they have the right to criticize him in the paper? Although this article's title suggests that it's about the problems with the team, it mainly just ends up being a "we miss Felton, DJ's not our guy" article. SN: If they wanted Felton that bad, he wasn't that expensive... Yet, we didn't bring him back.

Also, Crash is the same one that called Tyson out last year, yet this year he was an amazing player and leader in the locker room... lol.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again, this team is going nowhere because of how it is constructed. If Crash and Jack were stand-up vets, we wouldn't have this problem. Instead, they wanna be immature, me-first vets, and are looking for excuses as to why that isn't working anymore. Yes, losing guys like Felton, Theo, and Tyson hurt because they picked up the slack maturity wise and handled things within the team when Crash and Jack wouldn't... As vets often do.

I said earlier in the season, I think we can trade Crash for maximum value now. And I think UPS can grow into the SF role. I think Hendo can be a player at SG. And whatever we can get back should be equal or better in value than those guys. It's time to make some deals because these guys don't get it. You can't point fingers and without looking at yourself first. These two are grown ass men, complaining that they don't have another grown man there to hold their hand and "set the tone" for them. GTFO. Please, BLOW IT UP NOW.

Also, DJ's friend is on the board there frequently. He says DJ didn't even know about what Jack and GW said until it blew up over there and he called him about it being discussed on the board, or something like that.

He said it BS that they would do that b/c they're all smiles at practice and then go behind him and tell the media that he's "weak." So, DJ has called a team meeting to call them on their poo. I think something is gonna go down soon...

LOL, Crash and Jax better be careful..DJ is from New Orleans. Anyways, Jax and GW sounded like a couple of b*tches with those quotes. I've always hated situations like this. If you have something to say about somebody, be a man about it and go say it to them. Don't run to the paper or to the media. These are supposed to be grown ass men. Don't know why they're crying and complaining about Felton, anyway. Dude wasnt even all that great as a PG(and I'm a UNC fan), and DJ has the potential to be far away better than he ever was.

After reading that, I say ship GW AND Jax out of here. We don't need players like that. I'm disappointed in GW, severely. It's obvious he's taken on a "star" personality now, and since the All-Star game has played slack.

How dare he call out DJ, when he's playing slack-ball since middle of last year, and while he's missing Free Throws, and bricking shots now. DJ is doing what we need him to do, what we need you to do GW, is score consistently, be a leader, and stop whining. You used to do this, but what happened?

And Jax.... seriously? How DARE you call ANYONE out. Getting ejected, making the officials across the league hate us, throwing up SOOOOO many bricks you should be in construction. How about the turnovers? This guy turns the ball over so much, yet has the BALLS to call out someone who is doing their job? Get out, please trade him, I'm so over Jax, despite his great games here and there, he's a cancer to the locker room and I no doubt believe he had a great hand in whatever is going on there. That is what players like him do.

Felton would be here if he didn't get completely, and utterly, BULLDOZED in the playoffs against Nelson. They are talking about him like he played defense like Gary Payton and scored at will for 25+ points a game. Then they bring up Tyson, who missed more games than he played it seems, and Theo who played 5 minutes a game.

Sounds like a giant load of EXCUSES to me.

Call out others, but the TWO people I see making EXCUSES, are these two guys.

Good riddance.

Exactly - the SAME Tyson Chandler who GW eluded to as a key problem for this team's failures last season. Now he is in Dallas, and Dallas and he are doing well, so I guess all of our problems are due to the players that have left?

Nope, our problems were and still are right here in Charlotte, and maybe the departed players absence has exposed a team that has no thread of chemistry or consistency. Changes need to happen, and I trust that MJ will make some.
