the # 1 pick is ours..i did the math on the final 3 games for each teams 16(including the fact they play their divsion twice) opponents and by seasons end even if we arizona our sos is gonna be weaker.

your math is faulty then, or you've managed to predict the outcome of all of the remaining games in the NFL somehow.

well we have alot of common opponents since we played each others divisons. both divisions are pretty strong. anyway I did do some educated guessing, and for me to be wrong theirs gonna have to be some major upsets.

Thats my predictions, with room for error.

cincy would have to lose out (which would weaken our schedule)

we would have to win 1 (which would strengthen their schedule)

we play each others divsions,

they go against the afc east

we go against the nfc west

many reasons to believe they will finish with a stronger sos

*as of this very second(probably change before nights over) we have a 1 game lead for a stronger sos. # 1 pick goes to team with weaker sos in event of a tie

so I'm confused.

Everyone else has them at .583, and us at .587 for SoS...

edit: ok I don't understand how you are calculating SoS. You're just adding opponents records together, right?

edit2: per gantt (and somene else got the same thing here)

To answer multiple requests, CAR's current SoS number is .587 (121-85) to CIN's .583 (120-86), heading into tonight's games.

I swear. The panthers are going to F up their chances this week. I don't understand for the life of me why a team wants to win 3 stupid games just to prove a point and be out of LUCK with a great QB prospect. If John Fox wants to leave Carolina without burning any bridges i highly suggest he tanks every game from now on......

Remember, if we beat the Cardinals, the Bengals SOS increases.

Right now it's too close to call. We are hurt by having Pitt. and Atl. still on our schedule, but it's impossible to predict what all of the opponents for each team will do. As someone said, far too many variables to give any kind of educated guess. Something tells me that, barring Cincy pulling one out in Cleveland, this will go down to the wire.

Because players and Coaches have more respect for the game then some fans do.....

We will not win again this year...problem solved

If you're right, we're fine.

It gets muddled because Arizona is so abysmal on the east coast that I wouldn't be surprised if we won.

It'd almost make sense for Clausen have some monster game or some crap.

Since the Giants won, we'll remain .004 ahead of Cincy if Baltimore wins.
