I think clausen is garbage just as much as u do but u dont release a second round qb after 1 season with that good of a contract.

It has been done before....and it will happen again. Pat White was the #44 overall pick in the 2009 draft. Same amount of guaranteed $. He lasted a year.

you all are really out of touch with reality if you think a 2nd round rookie QB is going to get cut because of his game play this year..

y'all are crazy for putting much stock in this year period.. you really don't get it if you think a rookie is to be judged after 1 year.. (or even 2, esp at the hardest position in all of sports)

Edit: separate from the comments above.. and for the record... I wouldn't compare Pat White and Clausen.. the outcome may end up being the same, but hindsight is hardly a worthy prophet..
