Yeah...like Houston...they have an offensive coach...one of the best in the business...

...oh, wait...they can't play defense worth crap so they never win...nevermind

yes, but they are noticed, i am not saying get an offensive coach who doesnt know defense, no, i am saying get an offensive coach to fix the offense which sucks besides, who would he hire to fix the offense??

So do any of you guys actually care how he coaches? Or do you just like that he's a character?

He's had some very good defenses.

Not sure who my first choice is out of the four, but there is something I find exciting about having a coach that has more than four preset responses to media questions.

You do f**king realize that Bill Billichick was also a HC for the Browns before taking over for the Patriots...and he only went 33-46 with them.

I swear....some of you guys should have your dude cards revoked for being complete f**king morons when it comes to football.

They're just growing Bill Belichicks on trees up there huh?

Odds are better we get an awful coach from an abysmal team than that we get a future Hall of Fame coach from them. (this is the reason I think they're all wacky for wanting John Fox so bad)

Besides - as I've pointed out before - we're not the ones making the hires we're just reacting to the candidates with the only information we have. Is it possible that a good coach will come from the Browns? Yes it is. Still though the first thing I thought when I read that we were interviewing another coach from the Browns was, "is there a defensive version of a draw? I'll bet we run that a lot this year"

you guys shouldn't be saying "o he coaches for the brown HE SUCKS" but rather looking at the individual and his achievements, style, etc. and making your judgments that way but keep riding the hate train i guess

Exactly. What has he done? Who has he coached under? What has he learned about being a HC? I don't see much to get too excited about.

i dont think (because he coaches the Browns) that he sucks, i just not sure if i want his character here and i dont know about who he would hire as offensive coordinator. Rex Ryan had Brian Schottenheimer in place when he went to the Jets, Rob will have to find a coordinator, i think his defense WILL do wonders in Carolina, but not sure on his offense, i also think the same thing about Rivera, but i like Rivera's character more, anyways we will see who the coach is, but coaching the Browns has nothing to do with how he will coach another team.
