Pat Yasinskas opinion on what we should do with the 1st pick!

^your not the 1st to say that.. sometimes I feel Pat Y has some good write ups, sometimes I don't.. not sure where I fall in there at times..

he makes sense, if we spend FA on the offense then we won't suffer to go for Fairley.. we also won't suffer if we trade down and regardless of the impossibility, I think it is possible there is a team willing to give up a few picks.. I guess we'll have to see if they are worthy of us finding out how good..

I think we could do well in FA if we make it happen.. JR, you gonna make it happen?

anyone think I'm getting my hopes up that Malcom Floyd gets a better contract in SD than here?

Thanks for wasting my time Yas. What do you do? Read what people have posted here at the Huddle and then regurgitate it on ESPN.com?

f**ker

It seems he knows what we say on here, hell he's so dumb it wouldn't surprise me if he copies what people say and use it as articles for espn.

We take Peterson! Need to replace Gamble as our #1 CB.

or

Bowers to replace Brayton! Man, Johnson, Hardy, Bowers, and Brown.......That's one sick rotation!

Fairly-meh, don't see him being a Rivera type guy and plus I see to many penalties he will bring onto the team....maybe not! Get Haynesworth in Charlotte and back into a 4-3.....prolly be just as effective as drafting Fairley

I would be more fine with AJ Green than Fairley, just because Green's being compared to the likes of Andre Johnson and I don't like the penalties that Fairley draws on the field. Green is bar none coming out as the best offensive weapon to draft. Someone could make a case for Fairley, Bowers, or Peterson otherwise. Peterson's presumably the "best" defensive player, but everything suggests taking a CB #1 OVR is the craziest ever.

I just think if we don't start preparing for Steve Smith leaving now, we'll have our pants around our ankles just like when Delhomme was finally done. I like Gettis and LaFell a lot, but we don't know their ceiling and full capabilities because of the lame duck situation.
