Becoming a Panther Fan

KJ, any local places(diners, bars, etc) around us that have more than 1 panther fan show up for games?

No idea....i just started really being a vocal fan about a month ago! When the season starts we will have to organize one though...ESPECIALLY if we ever play in prime time. I'd love to watch a game with some other fans.

So...you became a Panther fan to win a bet?

I always liked them.....liked several of their players and rooted for them to win, especially in the playoffs.

You could say I became a "hardcore" fan to win a bet....but they were my #1 choice.

Besides me and that one guy, no one else had them in their top 3.

Nice...I've already met a couple of Panthers fans....one at my church who moved from NC, and another kinda fringe fan. I've heard the golf courses and beaches there are awesome....should make for an amazing vacation....NFL game, beach and some golf?

If you're a serious golfer then go to Pinehurst. It's a couple hours from Charlotte but well worth it. If you're looking for more laid back, party type golf then Myrtle Beach is your spot.

Great info...I def like playing a great course....which is comedic considering how bad I usually play on them.

    • It’ll be interesting to see how the board falls I completely agree with you on TE for us The safety from Oregon would be the cherry on top for Evero’s defense/scheme.  If a OL’men is there that you love it would be very hard to pass up. This fan base seems to just see Walker as a stop gap but I wouldn’t be so sure. He’s the same age as Ekwonu. He’s had a much more impressive career arc/progression than Icky has. He’s the better pass protector. As far as I see it if Walker has a good year I’d bring him back over Icky. Ekwonu isn’t some elite franchise LT. Playing next to Lewis is going to be great for Walker much like it has been for Icky. We definitely need to get younger/cheaper on the OL though so for this reason alone it’s still top of my list come round 1 if board falls this way  Could also use another corner with Mike Jackson’s deal up after this season and needing a nickel but Corey Thornton looked really good in that role in the limited time we got to see him. However he’s coming off an achillies injury and you never know with those.  Then as mentioned above we do still have a need at WR. As far as “weapons” go it’s kind of a 2 man show with Tmac and Coker and neither is a burner. If Jordan Tyson is there at 19 and we can have a young WR group locked up for cheap that’s a huge advantage cap wise  And don’t forget linebacker. That clip in Devin’s Lloyd blueprint they used from Evero saying they need more intelligence there could’ve been left out for Wallace’s sake but it’s true. Wallace is lost in coverage. Pair a smart linebacker with Lloyd and that’s a group with Wallace and Cherelus being depth
    • The fact that this is even a discussion is a testament of the level of front office badassery that's going on.
    • Not always. LT was for the Giants. So was Ray Lewis. Von Miller was moreso than Manning his final year in the season that shall not be named. It's usually the QB, but not always.
