Carson Palmer scenarios

Wouldn't give anymore than a 4th round pick for Palmer, period. And the Bengals will be lucky to get anything more than that trading with anyone else.

I'd also consider trading 1sts with them to get Palmer. We could get Peterson, Bowers or Fairley at that spot and keep on truckin.

Palmer is beyond washed up. He would probably look even worse without TO and Ochocinco. Why anyone would want to trade some of our better players for him is beyond me.

He actually looked a lot better without TO and Ocho this season. For some odd reason I am a homer for Palmer and not just because he is from SoCal. I think he was once a top 3 QB in the league and if he ever gets away from that clusterf*ck of an organization I think he will be much happier and have better years.

That said, all those options suck ass. He's not coming here. He'll probably end up in SF if anywhere but I doubt he gets moved.

Wow. We agree again TRD.

If you would just come over to the Cam-light, there would be a nominal harmony on this board.

Palmer has a great arm. It's like he is in a similar situation that Brees was in San Diego.

If Cam ever becomes a good football player in the NFL I will give him credit but right now he's nothing more than a project. Late first early second is where he should go.

    • I agree with OP notion, QBs always get credited for game winning drives even if they do minimal. Just last night Caleb got credited for a GE drive when they basically ran the ball the whole drive and only had to go 36 yards.   And there are drives where Bryce could of had a game winning drive if not for a Legette drop vs Philly or a Chubba fumble vs Tampa
    • You are actually, genuinely comparing Bryce to Jimmy fuging Pickles? Jimmy accounted for 3 touchdowns in his 10 starts in 2010. In Bryce’s 10 games post benching last year, he accounted for 20 touchdowns. Jimmy threw three touchdowns in 2010. Three. Bryce has thrown 10 touchdowns through 6 games. He is currently on track to throw for 3300 yards, 28 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. Wtf are we even talking about anymore. I mean seriously
    • Tepper? The guy that directs the coaches towards goals that he set for them… that guy. He is the one.    I don’t think he ever was going to be expelled from class, they had him come in for garbage time maybe the 2nd week he was benched.  I will say this. People said he wasn’t under pressure the last part of the year when he did better, but he was fighting for his career and that’s pressure. And he saved his career too. I don’t reject him for those kinds of things I reject him for the physical things. I have always brought it down to he has slim margin for error and has to be perfect. People with the tool set have a little fatter margin for error. Why make it harder on yourself? Got nothing to do with hating him.  I am no statistician but game that margin thing out a lot and see how that works.
