Rivera On WFNZ

It's time that Barnidge and Rosario gets serious looks. They are the ones with the talent and play making ability to win games. No offense to King, but the safe trustworthy blocking guy isn't going to cut it anymore. I don't think we need to sign a TE. B&R can be the guys we're looking for.

very little upside to moore, but there's not a whole lot of drop off between him and the other FA options out there. i still would rather se what a couple of the other younger vet FAs would bring, we already know about moore.

how can we write moore off if he was in the same offense that clausen was in last year? if people are going to give clausen the benefit of the doubt, i think moore might deserve it too.

Man, this guy Rivera is like the polar opposite of John Fox. He's smarter, more articulate, addresses every aspect of every question, and his football philosophy is light years ahead of Fox. I'm so glad Richardson made the transition.

I was thinking he did more talking in this one interview than Fox did in 9 years, LOL

I see a lot of people politely dissing king. He only catches practically everything. He just isn't the yac TE that so many of us (including myself) want.

He can still be a great redzone target, and chain mover. We'll still need depth. He may not be the starter for us anymore in the new system, ut that doesn't mean he can't help put points on the board in their efforts to spread the ball around.

    • Burns quit on his team, full stop. Burns was and continues to be a liability in the run.    JC has never looked this bad before the concussion. He always was a very solid tackler, from what I remember.  I’ll take the overall body of his work over his current down stretch. I’ve never had to question his heart. The FO has royally screwed up roster management in many other deals but retaining Horn continues to be the right move. He will be back to form next season.
    • I get it. I was making a joke that we have zero chance of winning.
    • Did Bryce play bad? Yes. Did the whole offense play bad? Yes.  Was Canales bad with his playcalling? Yes. Now with that being said I don't put this loss solely on Bryce Young. The seahawks are a much more talented team than us and to win in a scenario like that you need some luck which we didn't have that day.  Bryce has shown this year that you can win with him at QB but the problem is that he doesn't have the ability to elevate the rest of the team around him. Bryce was a number 1 overall pick who we traded a haul of assets to get going into the end of his 3rd year the expectations need to be much higher than 54 yards passing.  It's been nice to get some wins this year and have a chance to make the playoffs and Bryce has played a part in that but at some point the front office needs to see that you can't keep giving Bryce a pass for these low production games.
