The Carolina Panthers worth as much as your owner total net worth.  Don’t get carried away… NHL is not NFL.

i apologize if I came off as a complete Florida guy. My comment should have come off self deprecating as a Carolina panthers fan.

How was I trolling?

Im bummed out with how this played out as well.

That comment was fine but the one regarding the NFL’s Panthers was some trolling, you have to admit that.

Florida is good, probably the best team in hockey top to bottom when healthy along with Dallas.

Enjoy the good times because before you got there you were down in the dumps just like us and relocation was on the table.

Luckily both teams have made improvements and have secured successful futures.

Boys, I haven't played any pickup in like 6 years but I stg I can play D better than Orlov. I'll absolutely outskate him. Just....need some bigger pants...and probably some new pads...

can you shoot into your own goal as good as him tho?

There will be decisions made.

Do we change our concept in the offensive zone? Do we keep Rod? Do we send Orlov into a submarine to see the Titanic? Do we allow Aho to ever attempt a pass when he has a shooting lane again? Is Svech gonna be bullied by Nikishin until he starts acting Russian in his play?

Just play game 4 tomorrow night so I can free up my Monday night

I think Putin could use orlov on the front lines somewhere in Ukraine. On second thought, never mind. We’ve all seen how he defends his territory.

Yea he's beyond toast.  Needs to hang up the skates.  Or go throw games in the KHL I don't care.

Pretty sure Aho's 1 month old could out skate Orlov at this point.

You come across as an arrogant prick looking for attention on opposite team forum after the loss.  Usually these kind of people tend to be loners. Want me to ask admin to get you permanently removed?  I can accommodate.

For sure, let me also admit if I make any rib type comments, its absolutely not serious or is it coming from someone who knows hockey in any serious sense.

If I made a troll comment, its entirely light hearted, and probably self depreciating as a carolina panthers fan.

I haven't played in 20 years, I have two shot knees and a laundry list of health issues and I think I could out skate Orlov and play better D. lmfao

    • If they are going to trade up let it be in the 2nd round for Hill. But I don't like that idea either. What I would selfishly like to see happen is they take the Oregon safety in the 1st over the 3rd or 4th best ILB or OLB. Then see how round 2 shakes out. Take the linebacker with the 70's mustache in the 3rd and go from there. Production is the word you are looking for.
    • He was saying Ron hid when he was cut/traded whatever that was.  I get being resentful, and feeling like that was gutless.  He, and Ron, neither are from the ‘breaking up with someone in a text or email is okay’ generation. That avoidance is seen as a lack of character.  Talking about it on camera how many years later? Why? And it is all one sided he said she said stuff. As he is speaking I am thinking well I bet that ain’t the whole story.    Between this type of stuff and him cheating on the wife stuff some of his shine is wearing off.
    • I was very critical of Ron Rivera as a coach for a range of reasons. But Steve Smith has been playing the victim for years now and it's just not working anymore. We know for a fact that he was disgruntled from the moment we drafted Cam Newton because of his own ego. That says more about him than anything he could say about Rivera. And yes Ron Rivera had a lot of faults. No excuses for it. We were right to move on from him. But ultimately Steve Smith couldn't hold it together with that group the same as he struggled to hold it together under previous regimes. He needs to grow up and accept his own role in the last few years of his Panthers career because there are things he could and should have done differently the same as anyone else. Stop seeking to only shift blame to everyone else and evolve or just stop talking and fade away. This isn't helping anyone and it is certainly not helping his image.
