Looked like he aggravated his groin against NJ, rest healed it up and then he tweaked it again against the caps.

Aahh, ok. I knew he skated a bit slow in games four and five against Washington. Such a crushing injury for us. I think that's who most irreplaceable players for this year's team are slavin and chatty

Also, we have to lock Stankoven up long term. This guy is a game wrecker. He and Martinook almost always play balls to the wall.

It's pretty wild when I looked at his stats when he came to us in the trade. Most of his stats were very good and the one thing that was awful was his finishing - it was like in the bottom 1%. Glad to see regression to the mean is happening and that he is actually scoring.

100% agree this dude should be with us long-term. I definitely didn't like the trade because I didn't think he was that good and I'm happily eating crew

Yeah it didn’t convince me Rod may be able to get this team to the Stanley Cup but I am happy I still get to watch the Canes for at least one more game.

I mean if there is one positive it should break the guys out of the mental fugue aspect of it..... they now know THEY CAN WIN agaist these dudes.

One game at a time but if they can defend home ice wensday things will get interesting.

Have to win 3 more strait games but if you keep winning 2 out of 3 are home.

Yeah our guys got behind in game 1 and have been inside their own heads until last night.  I could be wrong, but it felt like they were able to mentally "let go" after being down 0-3.  Okay we got our butts kicked 3 games in a row.  Lets just go out and play our best hockey and try to win one.

Florida also had a 3-0 lead in the SCF last year and nearly let Edmonton reverse sweep them.  So there could be multiple factors at play here.  Either way, one game at a time.  Now there's a game 5.
