BREAKiNG NEWS: Panthers interested in trading for Trey Hendrickson

Hendrickson is going to be part of this negotiation.  No team is going to trade valuable assets for him without already having a contract agreement in place.  I don't think the Panthers have the ammo outside of draft capital.

And I hope they don't.  We do need to get better, but we also need to develop our young players.

We dont need to be flopping Motons 30 mil per to Trey 30 mil per.  We would be right back in the same cap hell

This is the big thing. I feel like we're stuck in limbo on trading any future picks until Bryce proves he's the franchise. If he comes out and does that this year? We can be a little more Les Snead and say fug them picks when it comes to difference makers.

But until then? All of our better picks have to be held onto.

I think it’s worth noting that Les was able to coin “fug those picks” AFTER trading away a former #1 overall QB for their current franchise QB because the one they drafted wasn’t gonna get them there.

i think that’s relevant to our situation because they identified the QB they drafted didn’t work for them and cut bait and moved on.

I don't want any part of trading away a 1st rounder when I'm still not sold on the QB position and if those concerns prove legit it's likely to be a VERY high one.

They won't be getting a first if hes traded they can ask all they want....

$$$$ plus age nope won't be getting that. A second sure.

All bids start high. It will most likely be a 2nd and a player, maybe as low as a 3rd as part of a bigger package.

TBH, I am not completely convinced they actually want to trade him. It's either that or they are gonna overplay their hand and it isn't going to work.

You gotta consider that if people REALLY want him, he is close to being a free agent so that you just have to shell out $$$ versus money, a 1st and a player.
