We have not seen a winning season in 7 years, and by the looks of this past game, it will be 8. Any fanbase that has gone through what we have would be negative as well.

His late round picks weren't always great but when you're consistently getting a Pro Bowl/borderline HoF candidate every year that kind of makes up for missing on a fifth

His hit rate was not as stellar as that. It's just that his hits were some of the best in franchise history.

Hurney 2.0 was not drafting borderline HOFs. Cam and Luke aren’t in a different stratosphere as Moore, Burns and Brown. There’s a reason why we kept drafting top 10 with the Hurndog. That said, I’d take Hurney 3.0 and DG 2.0 in a heartbeat over what we had for the 2021-2025 offseasons.

There weren't many Panthers today who DIDN'T struggle.

 

I normally have a 24 hour rule to avoid this place after ANY loss, but I was mentally ready to take the heat. Not that I agree with ultra hate BY, tepper, etc are getting, but I understand... It's a therapy session with extra extra hating....

They mentioned a great stat before our game today. We have the longest active streak with 10+ losses. It’s at 6 seasons and TBH it appears like we are heading for our 7th.

I’m watching but damn if I going to be optimistic after a game like that which fills you up with zero hope that you have the right GM, Coach and QB. If we can’t feel confident about those three spots, we likely get that streak up to 8, 9 or 10 seasons.

Unless they have the best rookie draft class of NFL history, more or less 2026 will be a carbon copy of this year. There's not much in cap space and Icky needs a 25+/- bag......

That’s the toughest part. Only the most optimistic think we have good talent. We have Brown, Horn, Hunt and Hubbard that I could legitimately say are top 5-10 at their positions. Just based on math, each team should have 7 top 10 guys and that’s not even considering that a top 10 QB is worth 5+ times as much as a top 10 LB, S or RB. We need a poo ton more.
