Bryce Young is the worst NFL QB to ever start more than a season and the biggest bust in NFL history

What makes me sick is I could just look at him before we drafted him and could tell he was going to bust. After we selected him, I had a strong feeling we were doomed for the next 5 years at least. We couldve selected Stroud or just stayed where we were and then drafted Daniels the following year. We chose the worst out of our options.

    • I think we're *smartly* acting like Icky is no longer part of the plan. If he is, great. But come back and take over for Moton, take over at guard for one of the expensive and aging guys, etc. to leave yourself options.  Taking a LT wasn't the sexy pick, but it's what a smart front office does.
    • I also think this is exactly how you use analytics. They spent a lot of time talking about how there was a 45%, 90%, 17% percent chance a certain player would fall to them and used that knowledge to plan who they wanted to pick. They did not use analytics to draft a 'super sleeper with traits'. Watching the last few of these with DM at the helm, I think they know what a football player looks like and use their analytics to help prepare draft strategy.  Im very high on this FO group.
    • I dont want to read into this too much but I think this might confirm that we are done with Icky.  If you are targeting a LT and not just surprised that one fell to you, then you have to be looking at that long term.  From a team POV its not bad. They got a long term LT. Let Icky walk and likely get a 3rd round pick back and a better cap situation.
