We have seen this too many times. Rookies, second year & even third year players have trouble with the lesson that a position in the NFL is a 12 month job. There is no off season. To succeed in the NFL, you must constantly work on your craft. That means watching your diet, limit the donuts & fried chicken, hitting the gym or weight room several times a week. In his case, practicing routes weekly until you can run them blindfolded & hitting the Juggs til your arms fall off. Watch game films when no one is looking instead of vegging out on Netflix. I'm sure good people can add to the list.

The overwhelming majority of idiots who constantly badmouthed Cam despite what he did for the team jumped ship long ago.

Bryce Young was and is the anti-Cam Newton. Opposite in every way. He is small and quiet. He is nice and friendly to everyone and never raises his voice. David Tepper clearly wanted this after dealing with someone as unapologetically outspoken and outwardly confident as Cam Newton.
