I can buy week 2 but again we are not a good team rn.

I'll be fine if we move on from Bryce at the end of this year but yall are kidding yourself if you think this team is a competitor with Brock Purdy at the helm

No one said that, but QBs ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS ON TEAM.

If your QB is limited, your team is limited. With consistency in the competency dept. we could at least be a .500 club.

So not only is Bryce limited with his on the field skill set...he's not consistently competent. Which spells disaster.

I just don't want this place to be all doom and gloom.  Not like it is going to change anything.

We actually had a pretty decent draft this year imo.  If there is going to be complaints, why not actually make logical suggestions for change that can be discussed instead of this we shouldn't have done this or Tepper should sell the team stances?

Hindsight and complaining are not beneficial.

I have. Bench Bryce and trade for someone like Jameis or Howell. Someone who had proven they can put up numbers but should be relatively cheap. See if Canales can show something with a QB who has NFL tools but has struggled with turnovers.

I don't think Canales survives if we're limited to Bryce and the ghost of Dalton. We should try to find a bandaid to give him a chance to show something because I don't think anyone with other options is coming to work for Tepper at this point and that's why Canales and Morgan are here to begin with.

I really don't see how yall aren't getting me saying I'm fine with moving on from Bryce

I'm just pointing out we have issues which extend beyond him.

Maybe if I say this it will stop the replies. Bryce is our number one problem. However we have a lot of problems

I actually wanted Howell coming out of college.  Jameis is a hard one for me to get behind personality wise.  I like his play style though.  At least it is exciting.

I could get behind a plan like that.

that' a very fair point, I don't think Canales is a good HC either but Tepper has shown zero ability to get a good HC and it's only going to get harder now

When Bryce dinks and dunks against prevent D the entire 2nd half don't delude yourselves into thinking he showed improvement and "bounced back" after half. You know if I'm talking to you. Stop doing this to yourselves.

He's not even doing that much

Jameis seems awesome. He seems dumb as a rock but also a legitimately decent guy who's fun.

I was one of the guys pulling for bringing in Minshew when that was a thing.  Don't know how he's doing or if it is still possible as all I watch is Panthers ball.

See man, this is all I want.  I would much rather have some discussions like this about what we could do than everyone standing around yelling and trying to burn stuff.

We have a lot of positives going for us, even though it doesn't seem like it.  (One of the best CB duos in the league, solid o-line which we haven't had in seemingly forever, good recent draft with a GM that has the ability to find some gems, two of the most promising RBs on paper from last season, just to name a few.)

Good. The main I wanted out of this season was the Bryce question definitively answered. I would've much preferred he prove me wrong but absolutely faceplanting is far preferable than still leaving us in some gray area of questioning.

You have to know if anything is there in Canales too. He needs a chance with a QB that can run his game plan. If this gets torn down again, everyone in the building needs to go. No holdovers, no anyone. Maybe Canales is poo too. But if we ever want another coach to come here for any reason other than money, we better give this one a fair shot.
