I mean we HAVE been the Browns even since the clown Tepper took over, So I guess reality is finally just setting in for most of you......that's sad

I been saying that for years now. I sat down and compared the 1999-2017 Browns to our 2018-(can't remember the last time I did it) period and we were demonstrably worse early compared to their early era. I will take a look and post again.

Sad part is Tepper probably doesn’t give a F. He still making money

This is the correct answer right here.  As long as he's making money, he's winning.  Results on the field don't matter.  Results on his investment do.....

Until THAT changes, and it won't, we're stuck with him until he dies.  Then it's the Nicole Panthers.

    • I’ll start off by saying this: in no way, shape, or form should Bryce Young be the starting QB for us next year. I accepted that reality last year—by Weeks 1 and 2, I was already disgusted by what I saw.   Now, let’s get to why I don’t think Canales is fully to blame (at least play-calling wise). There aren’t a lot of plays for 3rd-and-long situations when we have no speed on the field, and with Tet becoming a star, he’s likely to get double-teamed on those downs. So, instead of putting Bryce in position for an interception or sack-fumble, Canales runs the ball. Cool, I get it. Also, Bryce has a huge tendency of staring down ONE receiver as well and would elude getting an INT.   But here’s what’s off to me: when Andy Dalton comes in, the ball is being ripped downfield. (Yes, I understand Andy is a longtime veteran.) We even saw it last year—Andy threw the ball well, made the right decision and moved the offense down the field. Now with Bryce, though, I think Canales is handcuffed by his limited abilities. Throwing off his tippy-toes or throwing jump balls (never seen Russell or Drew Bree’s do that), I just don’t think he fits the mold of thing Canales wants in a QB. Bryce has also reverted to his ways with his footwork as well. It’s glaring on tape now.    There were times yesterday when I saw Bryce have time in the pocket, and he still threw a checkdown. Or there were guys open, but he couldn’t fit the ball into a tight window because he didn’t have the arm strength to do it.   I’m not going to put all the blame on Canales—he’s working with what he’s got—but I’m not letting him off the hook either.   Here’s how I see it: I think Tepper will allow Dave to pick his QB of choice this year to run the offense, whether that comes through free agency or the NFL Draft. Something has to get done. I cannot keep watching situations where receivers are NFL-open, but Bryce can’t make the throw, or when a tackle or guard gets pushed back a few steps and Bryce shows “Bambi legs.” I just can’t keep watching it anymore.   I don’t think Dave gets fired, but I wouldn’t be shocked if he did. That could be the potential route the organization takes. To me, it feels like we’re saving money for something. I also think Tepper’s and Dan’s patience with Bryce is wearing thin as well.   Just my opinion.   #KeepPounding
    • This thread reminded me how annoying hubby was
    • They sat on the WR that's been bailing him out while watching the run. We are back to 'everything around him needs to be a probowler' times again.  Just disregard the open guys down field...
