The Richardson family needs to somehow regain ownership of the team.  Tepper is a slimeball yankee (no offense to my northern friends) and he has brought his slimeball yankee ways with him.

Mostly revolves around that it can be worse from a GM perspective, and he's done a respectable job here. 2024 FA draft is pretty solid, 2024 draft n/a but trending towards bust with those first two picks, 2025 too early.

Last years draft class is a complete bust. Trevin and CSW are two or our worst defenders and that’s saying a lot. 

Brooks will probably never be the same. XL could get cut tomo and it would make zero difference 

Sanders is meh at best

You simply can’t afford to miss on entire class when you’re already lacking talent across the entire roster 

His idea for fixing the OL was to back up the brinks trucks to two guards. Our OL is an absolute mess right now. He paid Moton. 

We have zero pass rush. Zero. This is year 2. He’s had 2 drafts and 2 free agencies to do something. 
 

This team doesn’t look like it’s made any progress from last season and that’s the real nail in the coffin for me

Trevin & CSW are not our two worst defenders, that's just incorrect. Brooks & XL picks were terrible I agree, people dragged it at the time too. I agree with the rest, he tried to sign for pass rush but that isn't just available in FA and did what he could with O-line which I think was fine. 

Morgan trading for Mike Jackson was quite good, and I like his 2025 draft class so far. 

Robert Hunt getting hurt early in the season pretty much ruined any hope, the team won't be making any reasonable progress with him out and the QB being what he is.

I agree they need someone who will hold them more accountable. But Tepper will have to settle for whoever will take the job. So here we are.

Yeah right now his defense is ranked worse than Evero’s.

I was going to type something, but then I realized Tepper is our owner. He's basically the black cat personified. Even if we try to do the right things, something will go wrong.

There is no way to fix this team while Tepper is the owner.  

Canales is not the answer. Bryce also isn't the answer.  I'd throw a 4th or 5th round pick for Shedeur Sanders which also might not be the answer.  Picking a good QB these days is a crap shoot, so we need to get as many as we can until we find one that is good.

Just build out those trenches. Big behemoths on those lines. Then go speed on the backend of the defense and with our offensive players. I love Chuba, but we need a better running back. Need speed and twitch. Inside out approach.

First on the list is come to grips with the fact that this team won’t be competitive for at least 3 more years. Stop getting your hopes up because it’s a new season.

as for answers on how to get out of this mess, it all starts with Tepper. He has to let an outside source come in, evaluate the people he has making football decisions and either fire them or keep them. Tepper knows ZIP about football.
