I was saying the same thing about Baker while he was here

Like man, WE are the problem.

Now granted I was also a big Baker believer when he was coming out of college but still our situation is still the same mess it has been since day 1 with Tepper

Bro, this Brees is Bryce thing was debunked two years ago. He isn’t a comparison other than he had trouble seeing over the linemen.

The physical comparison just doesn’t stand up to scrutiny. Look for yourself. Be honest about what you think Bryce is, size wise. I come to 185 5’10” Brees you see 6’0” to 6’1” and 205 to 210 lbs.

Give Brees 3” and 20-25 pounds he is up there near the prototypes. Give Bryce 3” and 25 lbs, he is Brees.

Drew Brees and Bryce Young have nothing in common other than Drew was a little bit taller. Other than that even when Brees was near the end he still had a better arm than Bryce Young. And Drew had a different physical build. In his prime it's not even close. Completely different players. It's the same with people saying early on Bryce was a smaller Russell Wilson. Completely different players physically. Both Brees and Wilson clearly regularly hit the weight room through their careers as well. Bryce Young has pretty much zero physical traits and he won't even try to put in some work in the weight room. Three years in a row he shows up looking exactly the same. People can talk about his frame and this and that and in some ways there is validity to it but let's be real there's no excuse for him not to even attempt given his aforementioned limitations. To not even try is the sign of someone who does not want to be great. Which is the complete opposite of what many people had him billed as before the draft. It's inexcusable.

Russ was short but he was pretty jacked coming out of college.  He’s always had a good amount of muscle for his size.

Where in that post did I compare Bryce to Brees?

It’s in a quoted reply I think I got confused. Looking at it now I think I took it out of context and apologize. I stand corrrected.
